The Danish MMR study, oh the lies keep coming

Check this article out by John Gilmore at AoA. It appears the CDC and the Danes cooked the books to make it look like there was no assoication between the MMR and autism. They used something called "life-years" which made the data show a lower number of austim cases in the MMR vaccinated group.

Quote:
So instead of comparing cases of autism, they compared “life-years” with autism, and “life years” without autism.  In short that means if a child was 8 years old at the end of the study period and that child was diagnosed with autism, when he was 6, he would be counted as 2 “life-years” with autism, but 6 “life years” without autism. If it sounds silly and confusing it is, by design. They had to come up with a way to avoid showing that they had found a greater rate of autism among the children who got the MMR.

Absolutely disgusting.  It's amazing that they have the gall to keep lying like this, and that they've gotten away with so much.

They do have the gall, and they do get away with so much, because the public will not hold them accountable for anything.  Can you blame these organizations for their dishonest practices? Well, yes, but public disapproval is the only thing that might put an end to it. Until the masses wake up and demand better, there will never be a change. I am so disappointed in my fellow citizens!
