Sunnie-why are they doing a u/s for size/date this late? They get more inaccurate the further you get. If they did a 1st tri or even 20wk on, those are the dates they should use. Were you charting or know your lmp date? The one they just did for me measures me a week ahead or falls exactly by lmp, but I ovulated 5 days later. My mw has a range down anyhow-basically the whole month of Nov, lol.
Awe, Meks and Sila :( The sleep will make such a difference. We take extra D in the winter, even though we live in a sunny state. I figure we're not outside enough to absorb enough D though.
For both hospital and birth center-I figure the swim cover up I have should work well. I wore a sports bra last time, but plan to move around more, so would like some bottom coverage. It ties at the breast, so untied, gives plenty of opening for skin to skin contact right after birth. Easy to nurse in, move around in etc, if not too yucky from birth. I have some easy to nurse in pj tanks that I'll pack if I need to change and pj bottoms, that will work for both settings, as well as a nightgown that's easy to nurse in. If I have to go to the hospital, I'm bringing my robe as well, and then sports bra and nursing pads, since my milk usually comes in the next day. I figure they can strap monitors on with the cover up, and it's better than the gown, because no skin contact there after birth. If for some crazy heart reason I have to stay at the hospital for a few days for monitoring, I have no idea. Just comfy clothes and all my toiletries. I really hope not though, it would be too hard on the kids and me to be separated like that.
Not positive on going home clothes. I was thinking loose yoga pants and just a shirt, since we'll be driving home. Socks, shoes, sweater since it will be cooler.
Sleeping-I'm putting a bed rail since we're co sleeping too. I do have a bassinet set up for when I have to put babe down. I made a pallet for ds next to our bed-it's 2 mattress toppers, pillow, blankets, so nice and comfy and whatever toys he's sleeping with. He's been sleeping there for almost 2yrs now, once I kick him out of bed :) The older comes in as he wants, to our bed. I'm going to waterproof our bed soon also. They know they can sleep just about anywhere they want, it's usually our room or their room though.
Shower-yay Sila! Hope you get stuff you need. Mine's the 19th, hope baby isn't here. My friend and I went over stuff today and got things sorted out. Whew.
