Cat De-wormer & Flea stop Naturally

Hi-
So there didnt seem to be a "right" place to post this, but I did see the dog food recipe, so I'll try here.

Our cats have worms- yet again. (once a year, tapeoworms from infected fleas)
We ahve ordered some natural stuff online, but it will take a week to get here.
Have you ever tried to cure worms naturally on your own? Do you have any suggestions for what I could do before the medicine comes?

Also, What about the fleas? I do give them brewers yeast, and spray the flooring with a lemon/ eucelyptus mix, and put nemotoids in the yard. Hoever, 2 cats and One dog in a not often mowed lawn in hot Texas seems to make it a plague of fleas. Do you ahve any natuall ideas? I really hate them getting worms once a year (and the dont even seem to have that many fleas).

We did try the advantage stuff that is supposed to go into their blood system for fleas- but honestly it didnt work great, was expensive, and got all of me and the house- and who knows what was in it! I will have a baby soon, so I just cant be putting scary stuff on the floor!

Anyhow, any advice would be great!
thanks

I have heard to get rid of fleas put a bowl of water under a night light at night and the fleas will jump to the light and fall in and drown. I have never used it, but I might be worth a shot tonight.

Thanks for the replies.
I have also read that borax works in killing fleas (tho- not flea eggs it seems in my carpet),
Or you can make a spray of water boiled with one whole lemon or lime, and left to steep over night, add some eucelyptus or rosemary.
Also, almond oil or pepermint are supposed to help during bath time.

For the worms- I ahve found that wormwood, black walnut hull, clove and garlic see to be the answer (same for humans, just lower amounts for pets.) So I found all the ingredients at my local health store- altogether in pill form for humans. Now, if I can only get them to eat it !!! So far the dog is able to eat everything but the pill, and the cats get annoyed when their food is oiled down with the mixture. But certainly, worms will leave if they get starved, too.kooopppppppppppppppppppppppppppp- that from Fiona, age 2.5
thanks
