Ash, did you hit the sign or miss?

Have fun Amanda and Nicole!

I forgot to write about last night! I am really boring to admit this, but I cooked. On Friday night. I couldn't figure out a pizza crust so I switched up my meal plan to 5 crock pot dishes. I made 4 into freezer bags and the 5th into the crockpot. It took 1.5 hours including cleanup. Besides rice and pasta for a couple of dishes, I'm done making dinner for the week. Yay! I was a little disturbed at how few ingredients are in all my dishes. I basically just eat onion, tomatoes, protein, cumin, coriander, salt, and a few other veggies and spices for variety. Lol.

Sonja, if all else fails, fix it when he's sleeping!

Jaimee, what are you educated in besides biology?

... sneaking back in.

I'd love to be part of the group again if that's okay :o

Sara that is awesome, I'm jealous! You should mix it up with some trader joes seasonings though lol.gif. You could use the same ingredients every day, but if you spice them different it's like a new meal.

And yes I hit the sign with the shoes. But I don't think I was that far away so I probably shouldnt get points for not missing.

Jaimee you are an incredibly smart and educated lady, don't underplay that!

I am just covered in bruises. I have no idea why. I am so old. So so so old to be out doing the things I was doing last night. I'm still laying in bed watching TV and I have to get everyone ready to leave in an hour....so that's probably not happening huh?

Omg!!!! Christina!!!!!!!!! Yay I missed you so much. I can't do special emoticons on my phone, but you can imagine what I'd use right now. :-)

Christina, hi! How have you been?

Ash, I'm old and bruised and I didn't even do anything.

Thank you :blowkiss

We are doing very well!

Jaimee, I don't feel psychoanalyzed, no worries! I totally appreciate someone helping me see things from the other person's perspective. I know if DH were as ambivalent as me, I'd be a basketcase of nervous energy... so I can imagine his frustration with me always changing my path. I think I feel immense guilt for being like this and not being able to just commit to something we can rely on for the rest of our lives. And I feel like a loser because it doesn't seem normal to change one's mind this much. It helps to know your DH had similar turmoils while figuring out his career, but I'm sorry it affected you so! My DH does seem accepting at least. He says he's not disappointed, just frustrated. I should stop projecting my own disappointment onto him.

He is being more helpful today. He encouraged me to do the part time accounting route and then maybe I could make extra money babysitting sometimes too. I love that idea. He said I could even dedicate the finished basement to a kids play area for now since we haven't furnished it yet.

Most important, we are on the same page with wanting Sora to have her mommy back. We aren't too happy with some changes at daycare lately and that helps make this decision even easier.

If all goes well and we're in a consistently good place, DH said he wants to start TTC again a few months from now. I'm not ready yet but I'm hoping I can start taking better care of myself/my health and get to a place where I'm ready again. :-)

I feel at peace with the direction things are going. I hope my interview goes well on Monday. I'm enjoying this weekend with Sora so much, I can't wait to be more present for her again.

:joy:blowkiss  Welcome back!  The group has definitely missed your voice!

Ash, thank you.

Sara, I have a BS in biology, emphasis in botany and minors in chemistry and anthropology.

So THAT'S why you're such a good gardener, Jaimee..... ;-)

Christina, pictures of Rhyko?!

I was shocked to see so many pages in the chat thread and I'm afraid I'm probably not going to be able to keep up! I do try to limit my online time, but I have missed chatting with you all.

Life is going well! We've been very busy with remodeling our house. We've got the whole upstairs done except for the main living room (saving that for very last so R doesn't destroy the wood floor in there!), and we have the whole unfinished basement to do come January. We are planning to put our house on the market in the spring.

R is doing very well! He's super chatty and speaks in almost exclusively full sentences. We switched to underwear a little over two weeks ago and that's been great! He's a nightowl (like his dad) and he usually goes to bed anywhere between 9:30-midnight and wakes up between 8:30 and 11! I'd love to get him on a more regular sleep schedule, but... that just hasn't happened! :rotflmao

LOL!  Thanks.  And I'm glad you weren't feeling over analyzed... I was a bit worried it might not feel supportive.

Christina, some things you missed, a lot of us play with an app called Snapchat. You should too. My name is Serafinite. Jaimee put together a real contact list. We have the most active thread on MDC, it's hard to keep up. Some of us just smile and nod a lot. There have been recent questions about privacy.

YAY!!! I just came back too. We got news last Monday that we're expecting #4.

Thanks, Sara! I have a windows phone so I can't do anything cool like snapchat :(

I was in another group on a different forum a few years ago and opted to start our own private forum on freeforums.org for privacy reasons as well, so I can understand. R has such an unusual name, too, so I try to not use it on the net (other than FB).

Jaimee, for the record, you always come across as supportive :-)

Christina, sounds like good things happening with you! That's wonderful. Are you planning on moving to another city or just into another house? What pre-empted the change?

Aww, that sucks about Snapchat, Christina. You just missed my failed Miley Cyrus impression...

I'm on a computer. So here we go. :energy Yay for old DDC buddies returning!

Christina they are working on making this forum more private, so hopeully soon there will be more privacy here on this board. I am super glad to have you back smile.gif
