Fever - call ped?

Thread Starter

Our daughter's daycare called this afternoon and she has a fever & doesn't seem comfortable, but there's no diarrhea or vomitting.

She's 7 months, recently got 2 teeth, and I'm guessing she could just have more coming through.

Would you call the ped? She is not vaxed (and we aren't yet sure whether the ped will be ok with that if we decide to delay indefinitely). I wouldn't want to miss anything serious, but don't want to overreact unnecessarily either.

Thanks!

How high is it and is she lethargic? If by uncomfortable they mean she is fussing and grumpy, probably not. If she is lethargic, not eating, not drinking, then probably yes. Have they tried cool rags to help her?

It was about 101. I think she's been kind of lethargic anyway, but dh picked her up so I'm not sure.

I texted hubby to try cool rags though. On the fence about using the baby tylenol we have. Poor baby :-( At least I'll be heading home to her soon.
