NOVEMBER CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come in and post your workout!!! Track goals...

Hello ladies!  Here we go again!

I am lazy today - I just edited last months title!

This thread is for anyone to stop in and post their workouts.  You will get support if you want it....or just track your daily/weekly/monthly workouts.   This thread helps keep me accountable to myself.   I love it!  I also find myself making random comments on my workouts.  You don't have to.   You can post workouts that you sweat like crazy or just walk around your neighborhood getting fresh air.  If you are moving you are doing something great for your body....

Are you finding it easier to get outside with the cooler weather?  I am!

Started off this month slow so I'm gonna stick to 1200 minutes - you

11/1 - ZERO

11/2 - 90 minutes jogging and hiking

11/3 - NADA

11/4 - 75 minutes in the gym....core and stairs

I am planning on 1500 this month since I have a race in October.   How is everyone else doing?

My goals and workouts:

10/1 -  NADA (what a way to start off the month huh?)

10/2  -  60 minute run and stretch

10/3  -  100 minute workout cardio

10/4  -  60 minute run with hubby

Dang lab!  You are an inspiration!  My goal this month is mostly to do more than just walk the dogs.  I want to do "more" three times a week at least.  I also need to improve my posture and my flexibility.

10/1 through 10/5 --nothing beyond walking the dogs

10/6 -- no "workout" but I cleaned out the garden and that is a workout in itself

10/7 -- 20 min cardio and a 25 min serious stretching session

update

10/1 through 10/5 --nothing beyond walking the dogs

10/6 -- no "workout" but I cleaned out the garden and that is a workout in itself

10/7 -- 20 min cardio and a 25 min serious stretching session

10/8 -- nothing

10/9 -- 25 min cardio and another 25 min stretching session

10/10 -- nothing

10/11 -- Very long walk with dogs (I tried to power walk most of it) and I came home and used free weights to work my arms/shoulders.

Next week I am hoping to up my cardio to 30.  Once I get up to 40, I will be increasing the level of workout.

Can I join? My goal is always between 350-400 minutes/week, so that's 1400-1600/month. We are insanely busy (two kids ds7 and dd3, two schools to volunteer at, after school activities, and dh has two jobs, he's gone until 7 pm during the week at one and runs our surf school business) so I fit workouts in small sections of my day between obligations and we are an active family together.

I keep track of my minutes from Monday-Sunday. I have a recumbent exercise bike and elliptical in my bedroom, some videos, and we live by the beach so I walk/hike a lot. I try to ride the bike for 15 min every morning right after I get up to give a boost to my day. When life gets really busy, I'm stuck on the bike a lot because I can easily do it with dd around, she often sits on my bed while I pedal and we have a tea party :) I can only do the elliptical when dh can stick around long enough in the morning to watch dd for a bit.

One of my personal goals is to swim more, my muscles are much happier when I get to the pool at least twice a week, but I'm finding it challenging with this year's school/work schedule. Often the time I have to go is after 8 pm and I am wiped out by then. I would also like to start a Bikram class, but haven't been able to fit it in yet.

First week of Oct I had a terrible cold and was not able to do anything significant. Blah.

10/7: 15 min bike, 30 min walk, 30 min bike

10/8: 15 min bike, 30 min elliptical

10/9: 15 min bike, 75 min walk with friends

10/10: 15 min bike, 45 min bike

10/11: 30 min bike

10/12: 50 min bike

10/13: going to a harvest festival with lots of walking, when this happens I give myself 30 min
