Wow, that was intense! With the threat of pitocin induction and transfer to hospital (due to prolonged ROM and no labor...well, leak of membranes) my midwives decided to break my my bag of waters in hopes it would jump start things and sure did it's job. That was at 1pm, I hit transition at 5pm and she was born at 6:21pm in 3 pushes. My husband caught her and put her on my chest and we all wept, it was so incredibly amazing...so incredibly intense as well. My last labor was 34 hours long (active) and 42 hours long total, so this one really threw me for a loop. I'm so glad it's over and we have our BIG beautiful baby girl here (she is nursing like a CHAMP)!
