Hey all. I introduced myself sorta in the intro thread, but thought Id give you a mini intro here too ;) Im Mamatwo8 ~Tammy. We have 4 daughters, oldest is 6, 3,2,9 mths. Im 10 weeks pregnant ( or that's what it looks like on US) with #5... Im so excited!

thing is , I had some crazy bleeding about 2 weeks back, like ran down my legs, clots, but then stopped a few hrs later. followed by a day of pink spotting... then nothing. I went to the pregnancy recourse center and they did a US, because at the time I didn't know how far along I was or even after the bleeding if I was even still pregnant.  They found a bean!!!! told be I was 10 weeks and  also thought they saw another sac, or space of a failed pregnancy, OR a subchorionic hemorrhage.( the black spot to the top right of the round sacin the middle of pic) ..... the SCH makes sense , with the bleeding. but when I look at other mamas US's with SCH they don't look like mine... I feel mine looks like either another sac ( twin) or a spot where a twin might have been... anyhow. I scheduled a apt with a OBGYN here that Ive used before for US's . Im really hoping for the best. or at least a more concrete answer as to whats going on in there with baby bean.

any mamas had/have SCH?  Im not 100% sure that's what it is though... guess Ill know more after my US today...

BTW IM excited to find you all

never had this but am interested to follow your journey!  I'm going to guess twins were/are involed.  :) My last time there were so many us appointments and every time I learned more.   Welcome to the club and thanks for the adorable pictures!

I did/do.  Had the same thing you did a few weeks ago... woke up to a lot of blood that lasted for a few hours, I called my midwife, she said it sounded like a miscarriage.  The bleeding tapered off throughout the day, but I continued spotting.  At that point, I assumed I had lost the baby and was pretty devastated.  I went in a few days later for a US "just to be sure" and they found a strong healthy heartbeat.  I was in shock. They assured me that even heavy bleeding can be normal with the SCH, and so far everything seems ok.  I feel for you though... it's super scary!  I'm still spotting off and on, but they told me that would be normal.  I'll feel much better after I go to my appt again at the end of this week!  I'm no help with the ultrasound, though, because I was just so in shock that I admittedly wasn't paying much attention to what they were saying or showing me on the screen.  Hope you get some answers soon!
