Last month, I experienced what I thought might be implantation (unexplained cramping, spotting) at 4-5 dpo. Over the next week and a half, I continued to experience what could have been early pregnancy symptoms — more unexplained cramping, some nausea. AF eventually showed up, two days late. Lasted four days instead of the typical six, and while not super light, was definitely not normal.
Leading up to the start of AF last month, I tested two or three times and all were negative. I tested again about a week after its conclusion... Still negative. Moving forward, I didn't really think anything else of it. I've been a little extra tired and moody, but wrote it all off to stress.
As of now, I am four days late. I've been experiencing quite a bit of nausea since yesterday, a little light cramping, and some breast tenderness (though nothing to write home about). I took an HPT (First Response Early Result, which is all of what I've used) this morning, and got a BFN with still no sign of my monthly appearance.
Could this be false negative? I'm calling this morning to make a doctor's appointment, just to know for sure, and I'll likely go out at lunch time and get a different test. I just want to know, and I'm trying so very hard to not get my hopes up.
