That sounds good. My husband might eat it if I substituted chicken for pork. Would you please put the recipe in the Books, Blogs, and Recipes thread? DH used to not enjoy Chinese with me but recently started liking it when a local restaurant made chicken fried rice to his satisfaction.
Today I'm glad we're homeschooling. When I called a friend to ask if she knows anyone who could help us move, she said not to expect help from the school because most (if not all) of the schoolchildren are sick. Yuck! Fleas on the cat and scabies on my 4-year-old are enough for me, thanks. (Today we went to a vet who confirmed that the cat does not have scabies in addition to fleas, thanks be to God.) And even when I fall back into comparing my homeschooling with all that they'd be learning in the school, I remember that the principal lets children not attend as much when their families are moving.
I filled up our minivan three times with mostly things from the kitchen and brought it here and put it away in our new kitchen. It's hard to move in this week because the painters aren't done painting and while the tile is done and dry, the carpet men won't start laying carpet until tomorrow. Most of what was in the old kitchen is here now.
