OK does anyone NOT have morning sickness?? I'm 7 weeks and 2 days today and I haven't been sick, which is making me worry. That in combination with my betas at 14dpo and 16 dpo were 20 and 50 are making me worry that I'll be finding out bad news at my first appointment if I even make it that far. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard after having a loss a few months ago. Has anyone had a successful pregnancy without getting morning sickness? My mom and aunts never had it either...is it something that runs in a family?
with my 1st pregnancy and this one my nausea didn't start until 8-9 weeks and right on time, it started early this week. first my sense of smell is super sensitive, and it's hard for me to cook because then I'm not hungry for what I made to eat after smelling it while cooking, or I'll get a whiff of some smell and it just lurches my stomach. I found that ginger tea and ginger chews and mint gum help me keep lurching stomach feeling at bay. Staying hydrated and eating protein throughout the day I feel great. I also changed my prenatal vitamin and started taking an Omega fish oil and B6 suppliment and I noticed a difference in not feeling sick the day I changed my supplements.
I wasn't sick/nauseous much with my first two - definitely not with my first, and then with my second it was only if I ate tomatoes/sauce (or cleaned out cloth diapers from my then 9 month old :P Then with number 3, I've totally been hit with nausea and feeling yuck pretty much every day from about 7-11 weeks. Now, at 11 weeks, 4 days, it seems to have magically disappeared. My mom claims she never had any sort of nausea - just fatigue. Hang in there! I think every person (and every baby) is different.
