Name you want to be called: Claire
Area of location you live: San Diego
How many children you have already, if any: 3 boys: 15, 10, and 9
Estimated expectancy date: June 28th
Hobbies: Sewing/costume design, a bit of this and a bit of that.
Anything else you like to share: We're thinking and hoping very much for a girl this time around.   I've been a member here before years ago. (decided to just start fresh with a new name)  This is my husband's first baby, so this is kinda like Christmas morning for me :) he gets to experience all the fun things for the first time and I get to see how happy he is.  It's like the happy multiplied by a thousand for me. We live with my teen and he is super excited about the baby, and my other boys will be here for summer and able to bond with their new sibling. We're just kind of a non traditional very happy family.

Glad to meet everyone here and look forward to sharing a happy healthy baby time with everyone.

Hi, everyone!

I'm lizard79!  I'm from upstate NY, and I'm pregnant with my first child! Due on 6/28/14, and I don't know the baby's sex yet, but I do hope to find out as soon as possible -- simply because I'm excited and anxious to know!  :shy

My husband and I are both in our mid-30's, and we had just started trying to get pregnant, so we're feeling very blessed and lucky that it was so easy. I work full time, and my husband just got out of the Navy this summer, so now he's finishing up some college before changing careers.  We have two rescued dogs who are very much a part of our family, and probably one of my biggest hobbies is just walking them -- especially in the woods when the weather permits!

Anyway, I have lots of nephews and friends with kids, but this is our first rodeo, so we could certainly learn a lot from others, and that's one reason I'm here!  Also, I think it will be fun to have a sense of community with other moms!

I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you!

Best regards,

lizard79

I'm jumping aboard a little late in the game.  I was frequenting another board, but decided to jump ship.  Hello, everyone. :)

Name you want to be called: Alicia

Area of location you live: Texas

How many children you have already, if any: I'm a FTM.

Estimated expectancy date: 6/29/2014

Hobbies: reading, scrapbooking, sailing (I'm a pretty lazy first mate tho.  I like the relaxing part ;)) painting, writing

Anything else you like to share: Our LO is a complete and very welcomed surprise.  We both thought we would face difficulty/impossibility getting pregnant.  Baby crashed our first wedding plans which was a small destination wedding set for 6-21-2014.  We will take baby over wedding any day.

I'm a school librarian so I have zero kids, but then again I have 650 PK-5th graders, which is a bit of a concern for me and my doc regarding germs/30-day vaccination windows when the new school year starts.

We have our anatomy scan on Feb. 3. Yay!

I am an FTM due with twins on July 12th. My twins will almost certainly be born early, and I seem to be so much more pregnant than the other July girls. I have a huge belly and am leaking colostrum all over the place.

I don't want to be officially added to the group or anything, and plan on lurking mainly, but I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that there is a lurker in your midst!

Naomi

we live in rural central Missouri

we have six children

3 girls and 3 boys.  this next child will be a tie breaker!

12yo girl, 9yo boy, 8yo girl, 5yo girl, 4yo boy, 2yo boy

I'm due 6/17

expecting to deliver at home with a midwife.  this will be my fourth natural born child.  I'm super excited about it :-)

I've started home schooling everyone last fall and I'm really worried about overloading myself with the expectancy of our new arrival!!!  Home school proves more challenging than I could have ever expected.  Maybe because they were previously in public school.  Maybe because I have a lot of children and they are all at different levels.  Maybe just because I'm new :/

How exciting!  When did you find out you are carrying twins?  Was it immediate (first ultrasound)?

Welcome and Congrats to both of you!

:joy

Homeschooling 6 children must be a lot of work! Especially with a 2/4 year old to care for... making me tired just thinking about it.

The teams are.. blue (having a boy), pink (having a girl), green (not finding out)

I found out at 6w3. It was so exciting to see those tow heartbeats. I kept on worrying that something would go wrong, but they still looked perfect at 13 weeks, so it really looks like i am having two babies!
