How did I miss this group?
I am high risk, although I am just a freak of statistics, nothing physically or genetically wrong, and no history of preterm or anything. My first pregnancy I had hyperemesis through week 20 and then baby was stillborn due to cord accident at 38 weeks. Second pregnancy and baby were a breeze but induced at 38 weeks because they weren't really sure what caused the stillborn, cord accident was just a guess since she checked out fine on autopsy and genetics, etc. Third pregnancy was an early missed m/c. Baby passed at 6 weeks but I didn't start bleeding until 8 weeks and it took more than 2 weeks after that to complete. My last pregnancy they found a brain anomaly at 20 weeks and advised me to abort but my gut (and faith) told me to have faith in the baby. She is almost 7 months and has a few issues that the doctors believe she will mostly outgrow, but is otherwise meeting all her milestones and is quite the spit fire. She had 3 kinds of genetic testing, more for her doctor's own curiosity than ours as well as multiple multiple MRI's and other than the original brain malformation they can't find a damn thing as to why she was formed that way. I have had 1 u/s this pregnancy and I have 1 tomorrow, and I will be 15 weeks this weekend. First u/s showed a kinda-sorta previa. My OB didn't even know what to call it. It covers my whole cervix, except that it is not attached to my cervix because directly over my cervix but under the placenta there is a bubble of some sort. He said possibly blood but more likely just fluid, since I haven't had any bleeding or cramping. 2 nights ago I got up to pee and when I laid back down I had to medium sized gushes of fluid of some sort. At first I thought I had leaked pee but it seemed like a large leak considering I had just emptied my bladder so I kind of wonder if that bubble of fluid gushed out or something. It will be interesting to see tomorrow.
