I'm a part-time engineer and a stay-at-home-mom. I have a 1 and a 3 year old and I just found out I'm pregnant a couple days ago. My husband and I are super-excited, but we haven't told anyone in real life yet. I've been reading Mothering.com regularly since I learned of it in Blossom's book, Beyond the Sling. I love the website and agree with all of the kind, thoughtful articles. The main reason why I've chosen this moment to join the discussion is that for the past 3 months I've been working on a website in my spare time (http://researchparent.com) and as of today, I have not had a single real visitor. My main love (aside from my family) is children's books, and I've put a considerable amount of effort into compiling lists of the best books for kids of all age ranges which were generated by cross-referencing numerous published books of best books for kids. (I told you, I'm an engineer). If you have a minute, please check it out. I'm hoping that these lists will be of use to someone other than me and my kids.
Have a wonderful day.
