Hi! I am pregnant with my first baby -- 19wks, 3 days. My husband and I had been trying to have a baby, and now that I'm pregnant, I'm totally overwhelmed!! From dealing with food cravings to baby registries, to deciding on daycare/nanny options I am just looking for advice and see what has worked best for others. My husband and I live in the mountains of Colorado and we are avid skiers -- and this is the first season I will have to make fires in the fireplace instead of skiing all day... I am due March 15th. I look forward to this journey!!

Go with food cravings unless they're dangerous. Fighting them just ends up with you eating 6 things and THEN the thing you wanted ;)
And good luck on the child care, I find that totally overwhelming! :)
I had a weird thing with my registry this time - it has two things. I posted this to friends and laughed about how unexciting it was. They gave me lots of ideas for "padding" the list. But the more you put on there, the more there is to chose from and I NEED just these two things - the infant diaper inserts and the car seat. The more I had, the less chance I get the things I actually need.
I had a lot of fun building the list for my first, but then I trimmed it down, added priority and comments. A lot of people just ignore the registry, anyway, and they buy you the thing they want to buy you. You needn't register for clothes - if you have friends or family at all, you'll get ALL THE CLOTHES. ;)
I agree with the link @Beckilyposted. There is not much you absolutely "need" and there are a lot of great suggestions in there for the essentials. I unfortunately learned the hard way (and I'm still learning! ) that you can pile up baby stuff FAST and baby will like being in your arms/carrier and playing with tupperware more than anything else
