I am excited to join Mothering and to introduce myself. I began reading Mothering 11 years ago with the birth of my oldest son. Mothering was there for me when I went against the grain and decided not to circumcise my second and third son. Mothering was there when I always had a family bed. Mothering was there for me when I decided to birth my second son, my third son and daughter out of the hospital. Mothering was there for me when I delayed immunizations and worked on a Dr. Sears schedule. I love Mothering because sometimes when our heart tell us to parent a certain way, and we follow what feels right, it's comforting when we find out there are others out there who feel the same way!
These days I am mostly home with my 4 children (5 on weekends) as life is incredibly busy! I blog: http://imperfectlov.blogspot.com and http://familyfusioncommunity.com/meet-the-writers-iii/ ) I write a lot about blended family, co-parenting, life after divorce, re-marriage, raising a child with type 1 diabetes, love and sex and handling chaos. I decided to write when people asked my regularly "How do you all get along?" "How do you do it?" We have tough moments like everyone else, but my children are happy and I feel blessed. I am passionate about a lot of things Mothering and I'm happy to be here.
