What does your baby eat for breakfast?

And how much does it vary from day to day?

(And what do you do when they throw it all on the floor...?)

I don't have a baby but mine used to love apple, avocado, and oatmeal. :love

We seem to flip flop between eggs and steel-cut oats with berries. Sometimes he gets a banana or other fruit. He's been giving me a hard time at all his meals, lately, though. Wish I could figure out what the temper tantrums are all about!

Lately, on average, L, at the end of 17 months, eats maybe 6 teaspoons of plain fullfat organic yogurt for breakie. He's a big time nurser; that is his main meal. Occasionally, he eats perhaps a third of a banana,or a couple tablespoons of steel cut oats.
I spoon feed him the yogurt, and yes, anything he self feeds is on the floor. I rinse off any saveable bits, and usually eat them myself smile.gif

Hi Monkey!  Long time.

My 16 month old eats everything.  I have a 7 year old, so she wants to have what her big sister is having.  But breakfast favorites include:

Smoothies with blueberries, oats, bananas, and whole milk

Scrabbled eggs (we have backyard chickens)

Toast with peanut butter

Yogurt with fruit

cheerios with milk (like a big kid)

She still nurses every 5 hours or so

Cheerios seems to be a universal favorite! But I always worry about choking. But mine used to love frozen blueberries, especially when teething. :D

Cheerios. Also sandwiches. He usually has oatmeal every day, but I give it to him for supper (we have our main meal at lunch).
