Where I live, supplementing Lactobacillus (a beneficial probiotic) to women from week 36 onwards of pregnancy and then to infants through the first year of life, is all the rage. It's supposed to have all kinds of health benefits.
We are giving vitamin D drops anyways, and DF wants to go with the pharmacists recommendation to choose vitamin D with this probiotic added.
What do you guys think? I have read very recent studies (like Oct 2013 recent) that show possible benefits and no drawbacks. Hmmm. Why not?
