Should I ditch my hospital midwives for postpartum care?

Well since I had an unexpected homebirth that my doula turned midwife and her midwife partner both attended they have taken over my postpartum care. I've already had a two week visit with them and will have another with a pap at 6 weeks.

So, I still have a 4 week PP appointment with the hospital midwives that I was seeing prenatally. It is 45 minutes away and I have to find child care for my 3.5 year old. It feels unnecessary but for some reason I feel obligated to keep the appointment.  I liked them and everything but...

What would you do?

I have a feeling you'll spend the entire appointment re-relaying all sorts of details about the birth and it'll end up being a waste of time.  If you're being seen by someone else already, I wouldn't bother, especially because the 6 week includes an exam.  Also, my midwives do 2 and 6 week appointments, those seem like a more logical choice.
