Twin cities resources for newbies

Thread Starter
We just moved to Minnesota, to the Twin Cities, and are trying to figure out a few things. It's so hard to be new! I'm looking for a house cleaner for my father-in-law's house in St Paul and a babysitter (college-aged or older, not a teen-ager) for my two kiddos. Not sure where to look in this city. Are there online forums people could suggest? Or places to inquire? Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

Lemme think of more suggestions and in the mean time a little bump shouldn't hurt!

The twin Cities API yahoo group is a great place to look for all of those things. We actually found our sitter on sitter city. So that might be a place to start.
