kateaton - Yep. I don't think it matters if they are from the same ovary or from different. Women on fertility meds get multiple follicles on each ovary. The only 'rule' is that both must be released before progesterone goes up too significantly (within around 24 hours of each other).

My hubby is telling me to quit stressing bout is not getting pregnant. I don't know how to relax and not think about it. I just found a girl I know that has a 3 mth old is pregnant again really she posted a pic and said really again and she don't want another one. It's like it happens for women that don't want anymore kids or don't need them.. And I want another one so bad and it's not happening greensad.gif hubby really wants another one too says its my fault we ain't pregnant yet cuz I stress too much about but I been trying to not too since I got a new job try to keep my mind off of where my cycle is lol. Hooray! I've never been so happy to see AF in my life! I started tonight making that last cycle 45 days long. I credit the supplements I added in Vitex, maca in my smoothies, pineapple and core and nightly castor oil packs on abdomen. I feel strongly I developed a functional cyst because the symptoms were incredibly strong and miserable.

I started to log temps on my chart half way through all this but like a dope left my BBT thermometer in a hotel this weekend. Doh! I kind of wanted another one, my cvs brand one wasn't working well. What is a good brand? Do any remember your reading so you don't have to add it to FF while half asleep? Do any not beep annoyingly at your sleeping partner?

Anyway, long story short add me to Waiting to O please and the heck off of WTF. I NEVER want to be there again. innocent.gif

So my body is still being confusing. And pregnancy tesfs have been negative. I've lost track of my ovulation but also have had no signs of ovulating anytime soon. Sigh. Hubby is still trying every opportunity and won't get discouraged even though I am. Last night I made a comment that I'm sick of reading everyone is having a baby. Like 10 min after that, two friends posted ultrasound announcement photos and even Kelly clarkson posted her big news. It caused me to cry myself to sleep at like 8:30... This battle is getting hard for me again like I knew it would. :/

I want to read everyones posts but I'm too exhausted to focus. I'll catch up later.

I've been at the hospital with  my husband the last 26 hours. (7am Tuesday) Don't feel like getting into it. So far we can't find whats wrong, seeing a pulmonologist today. Because he hasn't slept in 5 days, I haven't slept much either and I haven't bothered temping. Last test I took was Monday, 11 dpo. Neg. I'm 13 dpo today and my period should be here tomorrow or Friday if it's coming. Not really leaving hospital, so I'm not testing unless I'm late.

That's not nice =( How is that going to make you stress less? Sometimes being a good spouse means not being 100 percent honest lol He should try to relax you, not just telling you're stressing too much.

As long as you're still ovulating, stress does practically nothing to your fertility. Studies done with women using IVF found that those who said they were stressed out had *better* results than those who were more relaxed. What will kill your fertility though is depression. Don't mess around if you think you might be depressed.

Updated Thread

AFM - I started taking my temperature vaginally, because its supposed to be more 'stable' or some crap like that. Its not. Probably because my new thermometer is a POS. I don't want to stop taking it though, just in case.

innacircle - starting to wonder about that 4% failure rate ;)

Here is my chart...no triphasic patterns, but my temps are holding out today and AF is due today...

phunky, were you still tracking your cervix after CD 15? I'd say its also possible that you ovulated on CD 15. The fall-back rise makes more sense to be at 2 DPO than 4 DPO.

There wasn't really any CM except on the days that I noted. If there wasn't anything to write home about, I just didn't note anything. Last cycle I O'd CD14. But, my chart from last month is different. See below. Thanks for the response :)

WifeofAnt - I think my SO would freak out if every morning at 6:30 a.m. I temped vaginally ;P As it stands I don't think he's fond of the 6:30 a.m. alarm on the weekends lol Does it take less time to get a temp? Sometimes I feel like it takes FOREVER for me to get an oral reading. And if I get a delayed reading, and then turn it off and immediately test again, sometimes it's not even close to the previous reading. Then, I usually just log what fits my needs better and what makes most sense...I don't know which one to use ever!

The other day I couldn't find the thermometer in the dark and I laid there trying to discreetly locate it on my night stand without moving too much, or causing too much commotion. Couldn't find it. So I just laid there thinking about how much of a raucous I was going to cause to find it, and if I should just forget about temping. We were up SO late the night before so I felt bad. After a few minutes I bit the bullet and got out of bed with my phone as a flashlight and started digging around, cursing under my breath etc. Ha...the life of temping...so dumb ;)

Ok really! Look at this stupid line that is like an evap line. So irritating when I get tests that do this. If held in the right light it almost looks pink, but I know it's just the dumb test.

Hi all! Been away for a minute. Eh, it was my attempt to let TTC go and focus on just being happy and positive.

Anyway, I guess I can be moved to TWW (2WW). Not sure if I'm O'ing today or what but I definitely have that crampy feeling. AF is due sometime around the start of Dec or the end of Nov. You guys know my cycle is pretty jacked up so Im just rolling with it.

Anyway, feeling a little crampy today and with lots of CM coming out of me. Weird. Maybe DH will be for a romp tonight. We've been mad at each other all week and I think its time to make up :wink

I started charting this am, and Im wondering about always testing at the same time, as I get up at different times in the morning. I do, however ALWAYS sleep the same amount of hours before waking up... so will having slept the same amount of hours and temping still count as taking my temp the same time every day? Also, when I woke up, my CM was dry, but an hour alter was very white and creamy...so do I put the creamy or the dry? It may have been dry from sleeping, I almost never wake up with any sort of CM...

I started putting my thermometer inside my pillowcase (at the top, where I won't feel it when using the pillow).  Easy to reach/find - works great!

phunky - I've never seen an evap line before - that's nuts!  What brand of test?

rojita - welcome!

crunchy - hope your DH is better soon.  Those lung problems can be scary!

Does anyone find that once AF comes you seriously reevaluate your TTC strategy?  I'm reviewing everything again and making a new game plan.  Def looking forward to the holiday distractions and generally being busier.  I think this is one of the only situations where hard work does not necessarily = payoff.  Maybe eventually, but it's a lot like the lotto where you can buy more tickets to increase your chances but it's still that - just a chance.  As a habitual overachiever, this is a highly uncomfortable predicament! hopmad.gif

@innacircle

I do that every single time! Each time AF is out the door, I say 'ok. This month I will temp, check CM, DTD every other day, watch what I eat, etc." It's utterly ridiculous but its how I get my head and the game. Usually somewhere around day 12, I fall off LOL

I didn't think FRER's had a high rate of evaps? Are you sure it's an evap? Can you take another?

AFM: still here. Nov was the month I wanted to avoid TTC in. I'm feeling depressed and DH is working a lot so it's been easy to avoid. CD 10 and my temp is still down. If it goes up by CD14 we will still have a chance though... But definitely not putting any effort into trying at all this month. Will resume effort next month.

We're going away at the end of Feb with my parents and I was hoping to be at least a couple months pregnant so we could surprise them while there smile.gif the worst would be to be newly pregnant and nauseous... Although who are we kidding I'm nauseous pretty much the entire first trimester with pregnant.

I have a doctor's appointment next week to discuss some stuff as my Dr is going on mat leave. There are so many unknowns with gettin PG in this town at the moment and I want some questions answered before she leaves.
