Well, we set off on the trick or treating path and this new mom had 1 of her 3 children who she said could not trick or treat because because of her behavior in school- "she didn't make honor roll because of her behavior." Every other home we went to resulted in someone asking why the 8 year old girl could not have candy? This new mom spent half the night either telling the daughter or anyone who would listen about the lesson being learned. Even going as far as bringing stuff up from weeks or months ago.
By the end of t&t I felt like I had been punished. Not sure if this post is a vent or question: is this "lesson" extreme? If not, would it have been in good taste to leave her daughter at home?
