I have flown with past pregnancies. The biggest issue for me was having to sit so long, my legs circulation was really messed up. I would go to the bathroom a lot, just to walk.....I have heard you dehydrate easier, but I didn't really feel that, I was drinking a lot of water anyway.

Best wishes for your moms surgery. Is it anything serious??

yes, I'm flying in two weeks to Phoenix. I'll be 21 1/2 weeks on the way there, and 22 weeks on the way back. Doctor said today it's OK, but I need to drink LOTS of water, put my feet up, and get up and walk around as much as possible. I had also read in a preggie book for multiples that you also shouldn't carry your own luggage or rush between gates/flights.

I flew several times during last pregnancy, up until I was 8 months. The only thing was that the last time my feet got so swollen after the flight. It took several days for the swelling to go down all the way. Jack and I are flying to NY (upstate) next week. Hope all is well with your mom.
