Maine - Have you looked at youtube for videos on how to nurse in the Boba? For what it's worth, we haven't nursed much in the carrier yet. We still don't consistently have a good latch, and I find it difficult to teach a good latch in the carrier.
Em - Go you! My mother took my big kids ToTing. It rained here, and I had no inclination to take a one week old baby out in the rain like that."Me Time" is napping with the baby time. Especially for homeschooling mamas, I think it's hard for us to take a break. My three year old still takes a nap. I decided this year we'd do an online program for math, so when my three year old naps, I will lay down with the baby.
superbeans - I've never gone through getting a baby from bottle to breast, but Kellymom is my go-to for breastfeeding info. Have you checked there?
rainy - I totes want to knit a soaker, but I'm a horrible knitter and more than a little intimidated by it. At least it's small...though by the time I get around to it, maybe it won't be that small!
Shiloh - If I did 40 days at home, it would be 40 days with no cleaning. Really, I've only really started cleaning again in the last couple of days. Other than medical appointments, we hadn't left the house until yesterday, and even then we just walked down the street and back. Today, though, we plan to attend my eldest's American Girl Club. I haven't taken all the kids out by myself previously. I remember when I babysat when my second was a baby, taking three kids out was actually easier than just taking two since I babysat a toddler: the two mobile kids could play. I hope for the same dynamic now that I only have my kids. We'll see.
Danielle: You make beautiful kids! I love L's hair!
