help with severe pregnancy back acne

Hey mamas, I've been very blessed to have a wonderful pregnancy so far. My only big 'issue' is this horrible back acne. I had it with my first as well, but it seems worse this time. Anyone else experience this? It's actually painful as the acne is really deep (cystic I think it's called?). Currently I wash my back with a warm washcloth (just water) in the morning and evening. I then spray it with a tea tree oil / water mix and let it dry before getting dressed. In the shower (every other day) I wash my back with cetaphil.

Any other suggestions?! Please and thanks!

I haven't tried it myself, but I heard that using apple cider vinegar like an astringent is very helpful.

That's a great idea! thank you. cheap and I have some in my cupboard :) I had forgotten how bad my skin is during pregnancy. thankfully it's fab from the minute I give birth until I get my first pp period :P looking forward to it!!

I am so sorry. I had it with my first two and it HURTS! I tried witch hazel and that felt good, but honestly nothing really helped to make it go away! It is hormonal and you will have issues treating it from the outside. Just maybe make it less painful! Raw honey is another thing that comes to mind!3
