Unschooling Group Activities?

I seem to be having a creativity blockage at the moment and could use some help brainstorming! My family is part of a young group of life learners who gather once a week. Throughout the year we meet at playgrounds, go for hikes, play at the beach, go sledding, press cider, etc. We are coming into the colder months and without snow at the moment we are meeting mostly indoors. We have a big open space (with tables and chairs available) to meet in. The kids range between 3 and 8 years old with the core group being between 4 and 6). I try to have an open, fun theme when we meet like this. Last year, among other things, we had a Playdough Party, Let's Build It (everyone brought their favorite building type toys and crafts), and Movement Madness (yoga, parachute play, etc.). It is very open ended. Adults and kids alike can join in, or not, as they choose. I've asked some of the kiddos for ideas but I don't know if it is their personalities or ages but they don't seem interested in coming up with anything or just really don't have any ideas. Anyway, anyone want to help me brainstorm? Oh, and it can't require TONS of prep or supplies! I'm a busy mom on a budget as are the rest of the crew! :-) Thanks!

Music? (drums, rattles, etc, and maybe some parents who play can join in if they like?)

Painting/coloring?

Sharing about everyone's families (especially if you have a diverse group)

Writing stories (collaboratively, playing with rhymes, maybe on a big sheet all together, or individually in folded-paper books)

Something with other cultures or languages if you have the resources.

Flight day (some things better for outside) :

Stomp rockets

Balloon "rockets" (those skinny balloons you fill with air and let go)

Balloons with a piece of drinking straw taped on and string running through (let air release and see how far balloon travels on string)

Paper airplanes

Paper helicopters (best if you have some place to drop them from) http://www.exploratorium.edu/science_explorer/roto-copter.html

Those plastic straws with helicopter blades that you spin in your hand and release. They go flying up http://www.traderscity.com/board/products-1/offers-to-sell-and-export-1/aero-props-propeller-toy-plastic-spinning-flying-helicopter-dragonfly-toys-304521/
