Looking for a midwife to do an at-home birth in So. NJ

Hi, I live around the Cherry Hill area in NJ.  I've been looking for midwives for an at-home birth.  I've already contacted Sunrise Midwife (she has moved to Washington state...) and Motherland Midwifery is full for April 2014, which is when I'm due.  Is there anybody else out there, even in the Philly area?  Thanks!

Hi Lilly2011! I moved your post to the New Jersey, Pennsylvania forum because the Midwives forum is for midwives to talk to each other about their profession. You may also want to post your question in the Homebirth forum. I hope you find a wonderful midwife for your homebirth!
Thank you,
Pokey

As far as I know, PA midwives would be unable to come into New Jersey because of licensing issues.  Try Dina Aurichio www.newbirthexperiences.com  She's wonderful!

Hello!  I would love to talk with you about your plans for a home birth.  I can see you in Browns Mills.  My plan is to have office hours there on Wednesdays.  Please feel free to call me 908-575-3282.

Thanks, but Branchburg/Brown Mills is a little far, especially if I go into labor and you're stuck in traffic or something.  It's just not something I'd be comfortable with.  I'm hoping for someone who can be with me within 30 min or so.  Thanks anyway!

I live in s jersey, farther s than cherry hill, lets be real, it's pretty much a natural living desert around here. I would at least meet with this midwife who was recommended and also reached out to you.  :)

The midwives of New Jersey do home birth. They delivered my son and were amazing!!! I wish I was still in nj for them to deliver my second. They work out of hackettstown, or did when I was in nj. I'm connected with them on Facebook. Look them up!
