pregnancy journaling and birth art

This pregnancy I'm just really feeling more of a need for connection than I ever have in previous pregnancies. And that's weird for me since I'm usually very introverted. I'm embracing it as a good thing though :) On that note, I thought it would be fun to do some journaling and art together. I was thinking I could post a prompt each week from this book http://www.amazon.com/Sacred-Pregnancy-Loving-Journal-Expectant/dp/1583944443. I know we're all on different weeks, but I could pick an average. Then we could share our posts (or just part if they're super personal) and discuss. We could also do some birth art together and I could grab ideas from birthing from within. I'm so not an artist, but I just made my first drawing and it was pretty fun and helped me figure out I want to invite some people to this birth.

Does this sound like something you'd be interested in?

Yay! Anyone else interested?

I just ordered that book a few weeks ago and I am actually trying to organize a kind of local pre natal support group where we write on the topics in the book and then meet once a month to discuss it.

I would love to jump in if you are taking the lead on organizing it. :)

I'm kinda a shitty organizer, but sometimes it's good to have motivation. I was hoping we'd have a few more takers. I'd hate to post something in the forum every week if no one is interested in it, kwim.

I'll participate in the journaling, but probably not the art.

trust me, once you see my version of art, you won't be self conscience at all.
