I recently found a brand of kombucha called Herbucha. They have a lovely brew that includes Dandelion Root, Stinging Nettles, and Elderberry. I know the last two are safe, but I'm concerned about the dandelion root. Is it too much of a liver detoxifier to be ingested during pregnancy?

Thank you for sharing. I went ahead and ordered some. I avoided Kombucha during my first pregnancy much to my chagrin now. I'm currently 10 weeks with number 3 and have noticed significant improvement in energy and morning sickness from drinking kombucha, and, as much as I dislike it, eating liver. This herbal blend sounded great for health and immunity. I'm happy to hear you've used dandelion root with the support of your midwife and without complication for the duration of your pregnancy.
