Oh yeah, the scar tissue massage, my OB said to start doing that maybe 2-4 months out IIRC? So I'm still doing it now too when I put on my lotion. I don't think I have too many adhesions left, but I don't really know. It just feels like things are loose in there, like everything is still not back where it should be. I tried to talk to my OB about it at my pap appointment I just had, but she was like "Everything looks good!" and didn't give much direction beyond that. It also feels likes more nerves were reconnecting down there too. I have to say, vaginal birth last time was so much easier and simpler to recover from. My tear felt weird for awhile, but otherwise everything was pretty straightforward. With this I just want to make sure I'm recovering ok, I really don't care about what my scar looks like which is what I sometimes think they think I'm asking about, you know? The weirdness is just weird. I should ask my Aunt who's had 7 c-sections, she can probably help
I don't want to admin the facebook group, but I will definitely join!
yeah, they are covering 80%...I don't know how much it is going to be exactly, though! I think they are like $3,500 :/ There's a scale of 4 with 4 being the worst, and Wyatt's is between a 2 and a 3. He hasn't shown any change for the better so the doctor was like, If you would choose to do this at 8 months (when they normally decide one way or another) then you might as well do it now so he can wear it for less time. It's still going to be like 3 months, though :( The appt was uneventful, they did an assessment of how much variation there was and what was misshapen including his facial features. Then they took a scan of his head and it's being sent off to a lab to create the helmet. We should get it in two weeks (normally 1 week but with the holidays next week it's delayed). I'll keep you updated!
hmmmm I guess it doesn't sound too late for me to start doing the massage! Can't hurt I guess. I do know what you mean by loose, and yeah, I think sometimes the doctor misinterprets what the real question is. Like, WHAT IS GOING ON IN THERE!? haha

I was even carrying DS1 who is 3.5yrs in the Ergo at the zoo a couple weeks ago and it was still totally comfortable.
I would love a FB group too, I can be an admin. Can there be more than 1 admin? Might be good to have 2 people on it. I am FB friends with 2 ladies who were in my DD club when I was expecting DS1 and it's fun to still know what is going on with them.
yeah I don't really wrap a lot, mostly just at home or if we go on a walk or are doing something kind of leisurely. If we're running into a store or something then I use the ring slings or the Tula (we just got it so it's not in this picture). I love that you can wear a 3.5 year old, especially for a trip like the zoo!
I think we can have more than one admin for sure. Some groups I am a part of have like 10! yay I'm so glad you volunteered! :)

huh. She was soooo active! I hope she's okay. I wish there was a way to check in but I guess we'll never know unless she comes by.

I've had to get my babywearing addiction in check, too. I love my Didytai and Didymos wrap usually, but got a Tula...for my husband.
I like it because it's easy to pop Malcolm on my back, but Phil wears him in it all the time now. Hooray for daddy friendly carriers.
yay thanks for volunteering!!
hahahaha I TOTALLY got the Tula for my husband. And then promptly started wearing it and gave him the Ergo (that I am supposed to be trying to sell). HA! :P The pattern I got has whales on it and it's just wayyyy too cute and easy to use. Johnny wears the babies when he's at home with them by himself and sends me selfies. It's so cute. And of course everywhere we go, because we each have a baby.
I'm so glad I checked in with you all!! I am terrible about participating with the monthly chats but I hope to keep in touch and see you all around FB!
