Raise The Chances Of Having A BOY!

I was wondering, is there any way you can raise the chances of having a boy after conception?

I think if you were able to influence the gender of the baby, it would have to be before conception.

The sperm is what chooses the gender of the baby. So the sperm could be an X (girl) or a Y(boy). Whichever sperm makes it to the egg first is said to choose the gender. It is said that Y's swim faster, while X's have a longer life.

By using certain positions while trying to conceive, people have surmised that you could achieve selection of the sex. But the research isn't really there to support the methods.

No, you can't change anything after conception.  The sex is determined right away, depending on which sperm got there first--X or Y.

If you believe some people, sort of. Boys are weaklings. "They" say the sex ratio at conception is around 1.2 males for every female but factors that work against a healthy pregnancy (insufficient calories, chemicals, ect) bring the ratio back to nearly equal through losses that end up affecting males more often than females. You can't change the sex of a child already conceived but you can make your body more hospitable to one or the other.

This link will take you to a proposed diet to "sway blue" (increase the chances of a male child). The basic guideline is to *eat*.
