With giant meal days coming up I would love to hear your special holiday recipes! Which holiday isn't important to me, just the nosh part. LOL. I would loooove to hear about what things you love to make and serve or what dish is always at your table for the holiday!

I love yams! Not with marshmallows, but with some sweet stuff. A nice streusel on top is yummy.

French meat pie. With ketchup. My memere always made hers with ground beef, not pork, mixed with potatoes and spices - cloves, nutmeg, ginger. A family tradition.

I personally love bringing simple, humble green beans to holiday meals. Boiled in salted water for 5 minutes, tossed with a generous helping of olive oil and salt.

Oh, and then there's the carrots and turnips, another family fave. Boiled together, well drained, mashed with ample butter and salt.

Spinach surprise!  It's spinach, sour cream, french onion soup mix and lot of cheddar cheese.  It's the only time of year I ever eat it, and it may sound really weird, but it's so yummy mixed with cranberries!
