intact four year old, redness at base of penis head, foreskin

(note: the forum required that i tag this post with "circumcision" -- although there was and will be no circumcision involved in this situation. this is an intact question. thanks)

does this sound like separation? i thought he was already fully retractable, from what he himself has showed me. yesterday he pointed out that his penis had blood on it. there was never any actual spot of blood anywhere, but there is a redness, including a spot that looks blood red on the tip of the foreskin on the bottom of his penis, and if you look under the shaft, it seems to be that the "line" there is more pronounced in redness. he has no discomfort.

any advice??

I moved this to Intact Care for you. This seems like a better fit.

Sounds pretty normal to me. The intact glans will often look more red in areas than the circed ones especially early on in the time frame separation has happened.
