1st pregnancy 6 wks but it was pretty mild only nausea in the late afternoon or while in the car it lasted until 20 wks.

This time it started at 5.5 wks and I'm nauseous 24/7 almost puked a few times so far.  I'm hoping it goes away sooner with this one.

I noticed mild nausea starting at 6 weeks.  I'm 7 weeks now and it's hit or miss.  Some days I'm REALLY sensitive to food smells and our stinky dogs, while other days I barely notice.  I have to eat ALL the time to feel normal though no matter what the day.

Yep. Last week I was at the Specialist for an ultrasound and Was 6 weeks exactly and telling my doctor how I would feel better if some morning sickness would start! Well, I had a follow up this past Monday to see if the heartrate had increased and somewhere between the 6th and 7th week the morning sickness began! Nausea all day long. Forcing myself to eat when NOTHING sounds good is necessary though otherwise I just can't function. Last night around 11p.m I felt pretty good and had a mad craving for grits with colby cheese melted in em. SO HIT THE SPOT! lol So I do understand your worry bc I felt the same way until mine began. Yours may just be getting ready to kick in or maybe you will be one of the lucky ones I hear abt that never have any sickness but still have a perfectly healthy pregnancy.

Mine started between 6 and 7 weeks too and has been just like this plus heavy fatigue around 3pm everyday.

8wks and it started yesterday morning...at work, trying to make coffee which smelled incredibly vile. And I threw up in the grocery store this afternoon! Sooo glad nobody noticed...I caught most of it with the flyer and sent DH running for paper towel. From now on I'll be keeping disposable wipes and a plastic bag in my purse...
It's weird because there's not really any nausea; it's more like if-something-doesn't-change-within-ten-seconds-I-will-throw-up. So far the 'something' has been having to take off socks/sweater/scarf/hat/wool coat, having a gulp of juice, or smelling lavender.

Nothing serious, I've never been a "vomit" m/s person. I've had a bit of acid reflux, felt nauseous from the smell of some foods and then mostly just after eating but it passes pretty quickly. I'll be 8 weeks in two days, hoping it just stays like this and doesn't turn into anything worse.

I did the past 2 days. But then 2 of my kids threw up this morning so I think it was whatever virus is running through our family. Yea, not the best way to start Thanksgiving Day! :(

Yes! I think you and I are having similar pregnancies. I am almost 7 weeks and no morning sickness other than a couple of moments and one evening last week, but I have been experiencing diarrhea on and off for a day at a time.

So the m/s started yesterday for me. Almost threw up a few times, the nausea was unbearable and it came in waves.

It totally kicked in for me last week (6 weeks). I had family in town for thanksgiving and hosted 16 people on Thursday. Not fun....I am seeing the doctor today for a sonogram. I am hoping they can give me something, as I am vomiting every time I eat and having trouble holding down liquids.

In my past pregnancies, it seems to appear around 6 weeks and fade by 14 weeks or so. I keep wondering how I will function for another 7 weeks! (Praying it is not longer)

Seriously worried again...other than those bouts of diarrhea late last week, I seriously feel so not-pregnant! I'm 7w2d now and other than very very mildly sore bbs and fatigue I don't have anything happening here. I told my SIL over the weekend and she was really worried for me bc she just had a m/c at 10 weeks and felt great the whole time too. I have an US already scheduled for Wednesday, so nothing else I can really do until then (and I had bloodwork done last week that came out good). It's just so hard to believe everything is ok when I feel so good! :-/

Hugs, Kelli. I know that morning sickness can really make you feel "safe", it does the same for me. But lots of women have healthy babies that had no morning sickness in their pregnancies. FWIW I didn't have early morning sickness with my son, but did have the loose bowels for a week or so before the m/s kicked in.

Mine started kind of mildly last week (in the middle of week 5) and is getting steadily worse. I'm so sure this baby is a girl, haha. I don't think morning sickness is an indicator of gender across the board, but this is a lot like my pregnancy with DD (high sex drive, warm fuzzies for everyone, regular and intense m/s vs. with DS: no sex drive, cranky and random m/s) Today has been the worst by far. I imagine, at 6w2d, I'm just coming into it.

first prenatal today and based on the fact that I was pretty sick my first 2 pregnancies, my midwife said to make sure my husband is with me at the u/s tomorrow in case it's bad news. She said I should really be at the peak of my sickness right now as hormones are at their peak, and though my bloodwork looked good last week she seems overly concerned/cautious...feeling extra nervous for 1pm tomorrow...

Good luck tomorrow, Kelli! What was your blood work like last week? I ask because I finally got mine back yesterday and I'm not overly impressed, although the doctor says it looks fine. On the other hand, I have been starting to feel sick this week (7 weeks in). But now I'm discouraged and worried about ectopic.

Kelli, I had zero sickness my first time and delivered a perfect little girl.  I am sick as a dog this time.  Every pregnancy is different, and i am kind of surprised that your midwife is implying that you should be ready for bad news based solely on the fact that you are not having morning sickness.

I'm 8 weeks and just went back to my pregnancy journal from my daughter, hoping to hear good news about when I started feeling better.  It looks like I didn't really turn the corner until 13/14 weeks.  Ewwww.  I was really hoping it was a lot earlier than that.  Hoping this pregnancy is different.  Blech.

It was 25,000 at 6wk2d and 36,000 at 6wk4d (I think those were the days). According to some internet chart, the #s are totally average, but I wasn't happy that they didn't double. She told me they don't need to double in 48hrs at this point, but that combined with no symptoms feels scary.
