Timing of subsequent labors

If your first baby was early, did second/third/etc. babies come early, too? Were all your babies reliably late? Were they crazy and unpredictable?

My first and second were both 40+10, and I am wondering what the chances of this baby being on about that same schedule are...

#2 34w (induced for problems and OB didn't believe me on my dates..he felt I was really 38w, but baby despite being large, was indeed 34w and spend a month in the NICU)

#3 39w4d

#4/5 38w6d (twins)

#6 40w born on his due date!

I think if you've already had two 40+10....it's a pretty good bet, but as soon as you 'plan' for that, you'll have a baby earlier than that :)

Mine were all three 41 weeks plus a bit.

My first was born just an hour after her due date, and my second was born on his due date. It is practically the only times in my life in which I have been punctual smile.gif

First was induced at 38, next was natural at 39, the third was natural right on her due date.

All of mine were non-medicated, non-induced homebirths

#2 38 weeks, 1 day

#3 41 weeks, 3 days (Seriously!?! It felt like a year longer than my first two. I mean... I ALWAYS went 38 weeks, right!?!)
