kdegroo- due 8/13 with #3

Thank you so much for posting those links. I have been trying to understand my due date because I knew the way it was calculated wasn't the most accurate but I was having difficulty finding other ways of calculating it. My "Woods Due Date" is Aug 16, which actually just feels better to me. I've also decided to tell friends/family that I am due in Aug, without an exact date so I don't stress about being "late". Thanks again!

That's exactly what we did with my second daughter's pregnancy. No one bugged me when I was "past due" and it was great! So much better than the first time around when I got 5 people bothering me about whether I had the baby yet as early as a week before my due date!

Lactatinggirl, August 19th (I think? Not completely sure when I ovulated because my chart is a little weird this month). Just got my very faint positive today and I'm still not sure what I think about it. I did want a third (and final), but it would have been nice to finish school first. :-/

Friederike, due August 6.

We know for sure that the eggs that made our little embryo were fertilized on 11/13 (via ICSI).

Hi!

I'm Abigail, 25 years old, and due on August 4th with my first! My husband and I are over-the-moon excited!

HouseofPeace- due w/ my 6th sometime in August.

hehe on the due date rant!!!!

since i'm due August 15ish (i want to call 17th just cause it's my mom's b-day) w/ my 6th, i can say that my babies have been all over the place w/ their dates.
happy to see some familiar faces here!!!

***edit***- my Creighton instructor put my due date more at the 18-22.  we were unable to pinpoint ovulation- we could pin one, but there was a chance of an earlier double ovulation.  it was not clear.

Hi Kate, I am August 12 too! I was three days late with my first so not sure when I'll go with this one, maybe a few days early. Good luck to you!

I was actually later with my second than with my first. 40w5d with DD1 and 41w0d on DD2. So don't get too upset if you aren't earlier!

Awesome, congrats! This is my 1st so nothing to compare to - figure if I prepare for the whole month I'll be less stressed when nothing goes as planned!

Aloha!  I'm due Aug. 16th.  This is my 4th pregnancy, but I only have one son, a toddler, 2 miscarriages.   I had some health issues earlier this year which created problems with conceiving and the first trimester.   I just spent 3 months completely revamping my health to fortify my nutritional stores and heal my health issues, and after I did this got pregnant again easily.  Now I am 4.3 weeks and hoping and praying that this little bean grows.  I feel like I'm in a great place health-wise now so fingers crossed.  Just gonna trust in Nature, I guess.

So long as it's out by September!

Congrats - there's nothing like the first, imho. :-)

Good point. I think I'll be okay though as, at least with my first, the last days of pregnancy were a heckuva lot easier than the first days of newborn. If I'm a week late, that's a week more of sleep! Your pregnancies seem like really nice lengths!

Lactomom August 23rd 4th baby

It is very possible for this to be a September baby.

you can!  email cynthia and i think there's a small fee.

lol on all the mama's and dates!!!

my 2nd was later than my first- 41 weeks 2 days, but my 3rd was the latest (fully 42 weeks) and then my 5th was my ONLY due date respecting baby.  i saw vernix for the first time.  i think due month is a great plan.  forget those days- they don't expire!!

You know I tried the due month with my first and NO ONE was satisfied.  They just kept pestering me until I gave them a date.

Since I (and all the women in my family) tend to go about 2 weeks early it's not an issue at the end.  My first was 18 days early and my second was 10 days early.  The latest a woman in my family (just counting my mother's side) has gone in the last 3 generations is 2 days past their due date.  The ones that get close to their due dates are always later babies...never first.

I tried to ignore this and expect that my first would be late, and I'm a procrastinator at heart...so I wasn't prepared for her to come 18 days early.

You first time moms should consider talking to your moms about their experiences...especially their first...It's a much better guide than the society standard.
