How do you wrap your presents for Christmas / Hannuakah?  Its quite a long line ofthem for us so I get out the wrapping paper and just get to it.  Bags take up too much room in the car and are harder to store (I like to be done faster).

You?

I didn't realize I could vote for multiple options until after I clicked "Vote" (reading comprehension before the coffee kicks in isn't so hot).

Despite my best efforts, I cannot seem to wrap a present and have it look like someone over the age of 5 wrapped it. And since I bought 90% of my Christmas presents online, no mall service to wrap it for me. So I tend to use gift bags. But there are some items that don't look well in bags, so I wrap those. And explain that my 3.5 year old helped.

10 years ago we bought some holiday fabric on sale in January and sewed some bags in sizes to fit common gift items.  Just stick the gift inside, punch a hole in the gift tag and slide it onto a ribbon, and tie the ribbon around the top of the bag (bunched up) or fold over the end of the bag and tie the ribbon around the whole thing.  I think it's easier than using wrapping paper--especially since I make the most of wrapping paper by reusing it, so I always have to look for the good spots!

Several of our relatives and friends were inspired to make their own cloth gift bags, so now we trade them around every year and always have a good supply.

oooh, that is a good idea envirobecca.  My mom did that years ago when we were all like 7-13 and could make bags with her every Christmas.  Since we now are with a pretty stable group of friends and family to circulate presents with, I bet we could have a one and done bag making session.  Maybe when I'm through my current paper supply stash, in a couple years LOL.  it'd be easier and bonus points the girls can unwrap the gifts while I wrap them and no time is lost. :)

For now, I wrap most things in paper.  I was going to start making cloth bags to wrap things in for family, but my family has either died, moved away, or stopped exchanging gifts.  So the ones we do send to get gift cards, and my kids like ripping up paper, so no cloth bags for us.  Sometimes I will re-use things like comic pages or brown paper, but the after Christmas paper I buy is so cheap that sometimes I don't bother.
