Pregnancy Symptoms - Page 2

It started with implantation bleeding, cramping and sore boobs in weeks 4 and 5. Right now I am at the end of week 6. My boobs are still a bit sensitive and have grown. The major symptoms right now are tiredness, all day latent nausea (no punking yet, thankfully), dizzyness, constipation (oh dear) and extremely dry skin. And I was told, I am unusually grumpy, which might be true.

Jessica--I'm enjoying my personality, too! That was my first symptom almost a week ago (I'm about 4.5 weeks now). I've been more efficient and "on the ball" at work.

I feel the same way. I'm like the picture of efficiency and magnanimity. I'm worried that they'll think I'm like this all the time and hold me to higher standards!

I feel like I'm way too early to be having symptoms! I'm 3 weeks 6 days and just got a faint positive yesterday. Starting two days ago though, I've been so incredibly dizzy. Like every time I stand up (or bend over, or numerous other things) I end up having to hold onto something and close my eyes. It's ridiculous! And then I've been crazy tired, though that could be stress from finals. Oh and I had implantation bleeding that lasted like 6 days (I was so convinced that I was starting my period, but it never went beyond spotting and then it just stopped) which was promptly replaced with copious amounts of CM. I don't remember things getting so drastic so quick with my first two!

3 weeks 2 days. Fatigue started Friday, nausea started Sunday. Eating every 2 hours and drinking pregnancy tea has help a ton with that. Grocery shopping yesterday sucked. The store was full of smells that madw me want ro turn and run. A normal one for me is chicken, but when walking down the baking section, marshmallows smelled so nasty!

Rhis baby came without a period between rhis ine and my last birth. My baby is 16 months as of the 8th and is still nursing. I'm guessing because of that, my body has been even more sensitive to thw hormone changes.

Nervousness set in yesterday big time.  Waves of nausea decreased sore breasts not sore anymore.  My only symptoms are cramping and lower back cramps... period like, on and off, nothing severe.  No spotting or anything.  I didn't get very nauseous with my DD, so that is normal for me.  Plus I have been eating lots of beans.  (for those that are sick google the connection with beans, bile and morning sickness)  I asked my mw about using wild yam tincture, and she said it wasnt a bad idea. I just cannot wait to be through this first trimester and relax!

It's so nice to see so many women in our group already! I'll give an update on symptoms as well:

At 5w2d, my sensitive breasts have blossomed into slightly sore and slightly larger breasts. I'm a 34A so this is pretty cool for now. I keep asking my husband, "Hey, do you want to feel my boobs?" Haha.

Otherwise, I've been having a really tough time sleeping through the night. Last night was a sweet exception, so I'm hoping it's been my excitement / swirling thoughts that have kept me tossing & turning.

Finally, I've been having some cramping. More like pinching or jabbing, mostly on my left. It comes and goes, and I'm not too concerned about it.

I've been trying to banish any anxious thoughts and not indulge in negativity and have been doing a good job so far. I did start crying the other day for NO reason. I just looked up at my husband and said, "Whoa, I just feel so emotional all of a sudden." and started crying for about 10 seconds. Then I was laugh-crying because it was just the weirdest thing.

What a journey, lovely ladies! Each day that passes is one we cannot get back. Might as well enjoy 'em one at a time.
Happy gestating!

Same with me.  I tend to obsess about symptoms I'm having, and symptoms I'm not having.  The first trimester is a very nervous time for me.   Just doing my best to stay busy and calm and NOT THINK ABOUT THE PREGNANCY.  lol (unless I'm on this forum.  ;) )

JessicaHW and faithrising - So it's estrogen?  Wow, need to bottle that for future use.  I have noticed these things too!  In fact, the calm and efficiency were the first things that tipped me off that something was different!

3 weeks 2 days (10dpo) here and have had rolling/alternating symptoms since 5 dpo.

Woozy/queasy and can't find anything I want to eat.  If I do find something doable, I don't like physically hot foods, I like physically cold foods, and have lots of dreamy thoughts about salty beef broth!  And chocolate, I'm just so ho-hum about it when typically it's my lifeblood.

Also - increased heart rate and stronger heart beat, fatigue, exercise intolerance, crampy but not bloated, BBs tender and already bumped up a bra size (last time I was almost 7 wks before this happened), gross skanky greasy hair and bad skin, hot flashes and chills, increased sense of smell, tiredness/insomnia combo, and I'm calm/irritable on a hair trigger.  Last pregnancy I had barely any symptoms except smell and the boobs after week 5, but I mc at 8 weeks so maybe that was indicative for me.

For the last two days the symptoms seem to be increasing.... I have a feeling this is going to be quite a roller coaster to have all this so early!

My food aversion has begun.  I literally do not want to eat anything and some things are beginning to straight up gross me out.

^^^hehe- me too!  my husband always tells people that the terrifying pregnant woman is not his wife!  he loves my pregnant attitude.

Okay- symptoms- i started w/ getting a little bloated and my dry eyes got worse.  Those were my first hints (right after ovulation) that i was actually pregnant.  I don't gain weight except for when pregnant.  and has just been a slight thickening of my waist and my umbilical hernia popped out.  (not really an outie, but a sure sign)  and yes, i started to have to pee all the time.  husband was shocked at how early this was.  i also got a zit.  i had a magical blessed puberty (or not, since i just didn't cycles) where i didn't get my first zits until my 20's, when i started cycling.  i don't have zits except for the charming acne up til 4 months pregnant.  if it's a girl, i can have acne the entire pregnancy.....

then i hit constipation (added in my magnesium) and dagnabbit- that one little hemorrhoid that plagues me on and off for pregnancy is back.  SO ANNOYING.  and fatigue.  I pass out between 9:30 and 10:30 every night w/ out fail.  i usually (used to) have a drink in the evening, and i stopped wanting that (even before i knew i was pregnant) which is also standard.  mild carb cravings- i usually eat pretty low-carb/paleo/GAPS- so when i crave potatoes daily, or cookies, or something w/ more carbs, i know my milk supply is increasing, or i'm pregnant.  this is when i took my pregnancy test (first one was negative, then next 2 positive)

now i'm having trouble sleeping, am cold (it is cold here) but also feel like a little furnace.  hormonal!  water weight makes me feel heavier, but i'm not gonna weigh myself.

i'm blessed to not usually have morning sickness (1 pregnancy) and to have really stable blood sugar, which might go hand in hand.
The last 2 days the biggest symptom has just been foggy/sleepy.  i start to forget things, people, events (which is not me at all) and just am not motivated!!!

I have been extremely nauseous, and while it's a little bit comforting to know things are happening (I had zero symptoms with my recent mc and it worried me the whole time) I could kind of do without. I've had so much stress in my life elsewhere that I've not had much time to think about this pregnancy, so I don't know if that makes the symptoms better or worse.

Anyone else already look pregnant? Stupid bloating!

I really hate the insomnia and vivid nightmare combo I've been struggling with.  Throw in my girls night time wake ups and I've been living on 3-4hours of interrupted sleep.

I've got some mild nausea, but nothing too bad.

My nose is quite sensitive.

I'm so puffy by the end of the day my ring is uncomfortable.

SAME HERE, I can't go to sleep until late due to the insomnia and I have a toddler who wakes up all the damn time at night.   It's making me really unpleasant.  :-(

so sorry for you mamas who can't sleep!  i pass out early and then spend 11pm til 6am nursing the 10 month old.  so i'm never quite rested.  i feel really loopy and grumpier than i'm used to being when pregnant.

I'm sorry you're having the same troubles, but I'm glad I'm not the only one with a toddler who wakes up constantly.

I'm definitely grumpier than I'm used to being, too.

I swear my toddler started waking up more the second that I got pregnant! She was sleeping from when I lay her down (around 7:30-8:30) until about 6am when she wants to nurse before going back asleep until 7am. All of a sudden she's waking at 4:30-5, then again at 6 and doesn't really want to go back to sleep! It's ridiculous. I'm lucky to stay in bed until 6:45 now and it's a fitful last 30 minutes.

OMG yep.  Like as soon as I got my bfp my toddler started waking more.  My milk supply is going kaput pretty fast this time around.

I'm 5 weeks and having cramping and back ache.  I've read that it's normal, but anyone else?
