Postpartum Thread! - Page 9
Hello, ladies. I have not been posting lately because I don't have much to report. My baby boy Axel is 13 weeks old and he is the sunshine of the house. He doesn't really cry (never did), he eats every five hours (no colics, no vomiting), sleeps 9 hours straight at night on his bassinet, smiles and laughs all the time... I really don't feel that mothering is that much work (so far). IDK, maybe I was lucky and got an easy baby? Eitherway, I love taking care of him. He got his daddy's temper, he's always in a good mood!
Kali, we are night owls so my baby goes to bed late too. I find it convenient because I like sleeping in the morning. Still, he's sleeping a lot during the day, taking long naps, I guess that's why he is growing so fast!
Question, do any of you have your baby sleep on his/her tummy? Axel sleeps swaddled on his back during the night, but I have him take naps on his tummy, partially because I noticed some plagiocephaly when he was 8 weeks old, and he has gotten a lot better now that I have him sleep on his tummy during the day (when I can keep an eye on him), and I use a special pillow when he's on his back. A a side effect (a good one) since he naps on his tummy he lifts his head high a lot, he has gotten very strong in his back and his arms.
