3 carseats across a Honda Pilot?

Hi all, I have a 4 year old in a forward facing Britax Frontier, and a 1 year old in a rear facing Britax Marathon.  Anyone know if I could squeeze an infant seat in between those two, and if so, which car seat would be best?  I'd like to keep them all in the same row, but if I need to I can move the 4 year old to the third row seat.  Thanks!!

The frontier is a beast, so I doubt it.  That being said, if you're willing to move the 4yo, pick your infant seat and try it out, worst case move your 4yo.  If you really want 3 in a row, you probably will need to move the 4yo to a narrower seat.

Yeah, I was worried about the Frontier. We just got it, so switching it out isn't really a good option for us. Thanks for your input!

Yup.

That said, if you can get to a Buy Buy Baby or Babies R Us you can try seats out and see if they puzzle together.  The Marathon rear-facing is fairly high, so it might gain you some space if it could puzzle over a seat.  If you're open to skipping an infant seat, the Combi Coccoro is only 15" wide.  You can add the widths and compare to the width of your car, but that doesn't *really* work since some seats puzzle together well and others don't.

Here is the measurement database for info:

Thanks! That's a handy reference. I think I may end up buying/returning a few different ones to figure it out. I love my Pilot, but the huge downside is trying to get in and out of the third row seat with car seats in the middle!

My sister has people go through the back of her pilot (her old one at least, she just got a 2014 and I'm not sure on the seats).  She'd keep the smaller back seat folded and just have people go through the hatch because it was such a PITA dealing with the middle row carseats.  I wouldn't have thought of it  myself.
