Found this interesting fact: Hemp is among the oldest industries on the planet, going back more than 10,000 years to the beginnings of pottery. The Columbia History of the World states that the oldest relic of human industry is a bit of hemp fabric dating back to approximately 8,000 BC.

I love hemp~ But I did not know it 3 x as strong as cotton! Hemp is the plant of the future for so many industries! xo

What I learned is that hemp is 4x more absorbent, and 3x stronger than cotton.  Why the heck haven't I been using hemp for night time?!  Lol.

Apparently I have lots to learn about hemp! It's interesting to know that Washington & Jefferson both grew it as their main crops.

I knew lots of practical facts about hemp but I didnt know that Japan has a religious tradition involving hemp, and custom requires that the Emperor and Shinto priests wear hemp garments in certain ceremonies
