OOh ooh, I love discussing poop! Call me crazy, but it's the first sign of health problems so super important to "monitor" lol! We had a very hairy period of liquid poops just before DD turned 2 - but I was able to narrow it down to FIL feeding her foods that are off limits to her (dairy and loads of gluten) and after a week vacation with me and my mother I was able to get her back on track (took double her normal dose of probiotics) and had a few words with FIL about how he needed to stick to the plan if she was ever going to potty train (which she had started just prior to vacation). He still doesn't follow and we have issues but it's very obvious based on the poop. Anywho, her NORMAL poop, is a nice semi-firm medium dark brown, and fairly high volume....though it's hard to say how "thick"....she's just started to poop on the potty and it's only been a few times so for those I'd say maybe same diameter as a quarter at largest? Otherwise if she requests a diaper for pooping, it ends up on a big ball/mass so hard to say. Sometimes she will skip a day, and definitely requests a diaper for the following day but has NEVER gone more than 2 days without a poop. Potty training has made the timing a little different, so sometimes morning, although usually end of day. I do wonder if she would be a 2x a day pooper if she was more comfortable going on the potty, but we'll see down the road when we get there. I tend to lean towards yes, I think she holds it til end of the day because prior to the potty she was a morning pooper with the occasional 2nd poop in the afternoon/evening and they weren't quite as bulky.
