I've been outed!

This afternoon at playgroup, my five year old announces that "Mama's so sick today. She threw up and threw up and threw up this morning." Nice. So now a bunch of people IRL know. Ah well. It was fun keeping the secret while it lasted. :-) However, my family still doesn't know! I feel badly that so many people are in on the good news, but I haven't even told my mother. Since I'm going to need an ultrasound in about a month, I'm thinking it would be fun to send her an ultrasound picture.

Oh yes, my dh and I talk in code about the *blessed event* and the *p-g* to avoid letting our 4 1/2 and almost 3 yo know. They would blab to all in a second and we are wanting to keep it quiet til the second trimester.

This happened to us! Our 4 year old told his great grandma that "Mommy has a baby in her tummy!" He's very excited We were waiting on telling everyone. We explained this to him and he hasn't told anyone. The secret is out as we told our parents yesterday. So now he can tell the world

That's funny! That is one of the reasons that we have not told the kids yet I still have not told the rest of my family, and want to keep it under 'wraps' for a while longer, lol.
