Yay September 2014 babies!

Let us know who you are: username or real name or both (whatever you are comfortable with)

What your Estimated Due Date (EDD) is and if it changes we'll update. If you have another DD you plan on telling people and want to include that too let us know!

Also what child/pregnancy is this for you?!

Are you hoping or have a strong feeling for a specific sex/gender? Are you planning on finding or are your riding "Team Green" the whole way?

Let me know and I'll update as we go to keep a running tally!

EDD Sept 1 by LMP (by O date it's Aug 27 but I tend to go late!)
I am going to tell everyone Sept 6 because last pregnancy I told them middle end of July and no one was happy about it. If they need a due date then I will give them a later one smile.gif

This one is child #3 for us. (We've had two early m/c's as well)

We have both girls! The first surprised me greatly as we didn't find out and I thought boy for sure! The second we found out. This time I'm pretty sure it'll be another girl, although I'd love a chance to parent both genders and I know DH would love a boy. Another girl would be loved just as much though smile.gif I'm pretty positive we'll find out this time again.

Hello fellow September DDCers!

My screen name is Motivated Mama but I'll reply to Nina too. I am 30 and this will be my fifth child and sixth pregnancy. You can see my family make-up in my signature. Three girls, one boy. DH and I didn't know we wanted kids until we met each other and knew we were meant to parent together. We didn't know we wanted a large family until DD2 was born. We planned 4-6. I'd like everyone to have a brother and a sister. Well, we've got sisters down.

I'm due September 2nd by LMP. DD1 was induced at 41w 5d. DS was induced at 39w 3d (and had the appearances of an earlier gestation). DD2 was born without intervention (unless you count castor oil) at 42w 5d. DD3 was born at 41w3d. My guess is this one will be at least a week late. Let's keep the date though and see if I break my own record (I hope not!).

I have a strong feeling this one is another girl. I would love a boy, but a girl would give me leverage for going for a 6th. smile.gif DH does not want to find out and I think I will appease him. As for birth, I'm debating between my last midwife (who I love but means hospital) and UC.

I'm excited to be a part of this DDC!

Hi I'm innacircle -

I'm 40 and DH is 37.  We've been together 15 years and this will be our 1st after TTC for 6 months (following an early mc of my 1st pregnancy earlier in 2013).

My EDD from LMP is August 26th but pregnancies in my family always run at least a week late so I'm figuring September 2nd.  No one from my immediate family has ever been early or even on time!  I guess we like to cook 'em well done around here and they are usually big babies.

Since I am "advanced maternal age" I will be doing NIPT as soon after the 10 week mark as possible and we will definitely find out the sex.  My husband would absolutely blow up if he didn't know which it will be!  It's a boy though - that's my prediction.  No idea why I think that, and we have no preference, but from very early on all my references were "he" so I'm going with it!

Hi I'm Stormy. I"m 30.

My EDD is August 30, but I went to 41 + 5 with my 2 yo DD, so I joined this group instead. I have a feeling this one is likely to go just as long and end up a Sept. baby.

This will be child #2, my other child is a 2yr old little girl born late August of 2011, so she will be turning 3 around the time the baby is born.

I'm just guessing a boy from our timing (not done purposely but everything we did lines up with "boy" using the Shettles Method). I'm considering going Team Green, but will probably cave and find out
post #6 of 206

I am Katie and I am 33.

My EDD is Sept 5.  This will be my second child but my SO first.  I have a 10 year old daughter from my marriage.  I hope that the big age difference won't matter and that they will bond.  I think we will probably find out the gender since I don't think I can go the whole time without knowing.  I would love to have a boy this time since I already have a girl.

Hey mamas!

I'm Sheaffer, and I'm 36.   I just took my at home test a few hours ago, so it's looking like Sept 6 according to LMP.  Early with the first (DD1- 10.5 yrs), late 2 weeks with the second (DD2- 5 yrs), and late 5 days with the third (DS 16 mos).  Hoping to be late so my middle girl will have birthday celebrations of her own ;)  She's Sept 5!  This one was not planned, even though we were def planning on another within the next six months.  We will find out the gender, and have our fingers crossed that we even out the playing field with another boy!

Hiya mamas! I'm Wendy and this is baby #3 for me, my third planned homebirth. I have a little boy (just turned 3) and a little girl (18 months). My EDD is August 24, but I have a feeling this is a boy and boys in my family tend to want to bake a little longer than normal. My son came exactly 2 weeks late and my daughter came 20 days early! I've loved my MDC DDC's for my last two pregnancies and I look forward to meeting and getting to know you ladies too!

Hi ladies...

Hesitant to post here just because I'm pregnant after a very early loss last month and I'm so nervous.

Took a HPT on Christmas only 3 weeks after our loss and it was a faint positive. Took another today and much darker. By the date of my loss, which was only a few days after my missed period, I would be due September 10th. I feel that I ovulated a few days early though.

Very worried for this pregnancy but trying to relax. This would be my third baby. I have a 5yo boy and almost 3 yo girl.

Praying that this baby is healthy and growing!

Hello! Our fifth child is due August 28th but I run late! Most recently a full two weeks late, so I expect a mid-September baby. We have four boys at home so as you can imagine I fully expect this to be a boy as well. We will find out as soon as possible! Looking forward to getting to know all of you ladies and supporting each other on this journey!

Hello all! I'm Melanie, I'm 26 and pregnant with my first. EDD is August 27th with LMP but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we're probably looking at a September birthday.
My fiancé and I are absolutely over the moon and want to find out the sex ASAP, I'm hoping for a healthy baby either way but I think he wants a little boy for starters. Like many of you, I'm nervous getting through these first few months! Prayers that your pregnancies all go incredibly well smile.gif

It's looking like I"m out greensad.gif

Spent 7 hrs in the ER due to spotting. Not something I would have normally done but I suspected some thyroid issues before pregnancy and when I started spotting I suspected low progesterone. I don't have an OBGYN here yet, so I was hoping the ER could prescribe progesterone if needed or refer me to someone ASAP. They ran my numbers and I was at 165 (when I should be at least at 200 at the bare minimum). I go in Thursday for followup HCG levels, but the low levels combine with spotting, I'm chalking it up to an early miscarriage.

Oh no!  This is so sad to hear SouthernStormy.  Is it possible tho that this one's just a slow starter?

I am Littlest Birds and due Sept 4.

I am 37 (turning 38 this month) and expected to never join a DDC after TTC for several frustrating years starting 4.5 years ago after a vasectomy reversal. We gave up and definitely moved on from TTC which was very emotional throughout for me. Our oldest dd will be turning 20 in September 2014 and this will be our fifth child after a gap of almost 12 years. We have 3 girls and a boy--I would be happy with either and won't find out unless we get an ultrasound for another reason. I expect we will wait a long time to tell because I am terrified of miscarrying and don't yet "believe" this will be real for us.  (Once it's public our whole town will know.)

I feel worried/unsettled but wonderful-wonderful-wonderful.

My screen name is anyalily. I just got a BFP this morning, my first act of 2014. I am happy. My DH and I have been trying on and off, but mostly on for two years. I have DD who is 5.5 and in kindergarten. I have been talking to her about baby chances so she understands that sometimes we get a baby chance and then we wait and see if it grows. I had a loss a year ago and it feels like a good way to normalize pregnancy and loss... I told her and DH together right after I POAS. :)

I have a big mouth so I will likely blab over the next few days, just to those closest dozen or so, LOL.

I had confusion over my dates last time but I think she was born right on time after a month of u/s monitoring because they changed my dates by 3.5 weeks in my third trimester and called me late the whole last month. We induced with accupuncture, quite effective. I went along with it in order to not risk out of the birth center, but I ended up with a 36 hour labor and a transfer to the hospital. Vag birth through sheer stubbornness and pushing without contractions. Lots of damage, a year of discomfort. But a good healthy baby!

I am so excited for this do-over for an uncomplicated birth! More activity, less weight gain and hopefully some good luck.
