Okay I have a question I bought some sparkling wine which I love and I have taken two sips and my blood pressure is already up. I have never had that happen that quick before usually after
Cpl glasses. Could that mean maybe I am preg or what? Just some thoughts please

I think I've had the same thing happen before. Sometimes wine doesn't affect me til after a couple of glasses, but every once in awhile I swear I can feel its effects after a couple of sips. It's the strangest thing...

Not trying to be Debbie Downer, but with all the neg hpt's, I think it's highly unlikely you are pregnant. I know there are the rare cases, and I truly hope you're one of them, but I think there's something else going on. The only experience I have with this that even comes close (which it doesn't) is when I had a "long" cycle once. I was an entire week late and just knew I was pregnant. But every test came back negative. Turns out I was just late. I was so disappointed. I know this doesn't really compare to a 60+ day cycle...

Was it you that said before that your dr suspects PCOS? If so, that would completely explain the long cycle. Ugh! Hurry up Thur and get here so you can have some answers!!!

So awesome that you're having your first US tomorrow! Let us know how it goes!! How far along are you now? If you're less than 7ish weeks, don't be worried if they can't see a heartbeat yet. But you should be able to see a sac at least (I think). But maybe you'll get lucky and see the little ticker!
So sorry AF arrived. At least the wait is over!

rosie - You have just created a monster.  Be warned - I will probably hound you to death about weight questions in pregnancy, etc.  I am basically built like a teenager (it's genetic - my parents were in great physical shape into their 70's-80's).  I have never dieted  and I eat pretty much whatever.  I exercise for health, usually walking or jet-skiing, but never to "get in shape".  Mostly I just like getting outside in nice weather.

All that being said, how did you find pregnancy affecting your appetite/eating habits?  Did you gain much?  What about recovering afterwards?  I am worried that I'm going to lose my magic gift of skinniness!!

I'll be 7w3d at the appt on Thursday.  Thx for giving me a heads-up on what to expect bc I wouldn't have known that!

Ha! I do feel I'm losing my mojo and should start working out. After 3 kids, and time, it was inevitable. But I still wear a 2-4 depending on brand too! I actually gained 40 with my first, 35 2nd and about the same with #3. It did take awhile to come back off, but it all did after probably 9 months. My dr said "it takes 9 months to put it on and about 9 to take it off!" As for my appetite, I did eat more. It's like I was hungry ALL THE TIME!! And while I'm not a big fan of choc, I did eat 2 choc donuts pretty much every day with one of my daughters. With one of them too, I loved waffles. So I guess I had a sweet tooth. Which is weird since I usually only get a sweet tooth if I have PMS (but not every month). That darn PMS/pregnancy symptom thing is so true...they are so alike! I'm so glad you'll be at least 7 weeks. I think you have a really good shot at seeing the heartbeat! It could still be early tho, so don't freak if you can't. Be sure and let us know how it goes!!

So I'm testing my body to see if it's 'resetting' itself as instructed and look at this. Apparently it's trying to ovulate. My temps don't match but that might have to do with our messed up weather and getting sick.

badwolf092087, my OPKs actually look like that through mostly my entire cycle (yes, I take OPKs throughout my cycle even when I know I'm no where near when I usually O.)  For me, I almost never have a situation where there is NO test line -- I usually see something there, like your picture, even if I'm nowhere near O, or if I'm anovulatory.  (I use the same brand, BTW.)  When I'm gearing up to O, the test line gets progressively darker.  So my experience has been that I need to see a series of OPKs to see if I'm gearing up to O...

Congratulations, anyalily!

I'm sorry you are WTO again.  I looked at your chart for the last cycle.  It kind of looks like you O'd later than the dotted cross-hairs indicate, which would put your LP a bit on the short side.. plus you have the LP spotting... maybe try B6??

jchole, Siuann, jojo  - I'm so sorry this cycle was out!!!

scjp - really glad your appt is tomorrow.  I'm with Rosie .... with all your weird cycles, something is up.  Glad you are on track to find out what.

inna, I'm like this.  I'm 5'7" and I'm 110 lbs (being underweight is one reason why my hormones are shot, so I get anovulatory cycles, so no one out there should envy this!!)    I have been trying to gain this past year, but I have diet restrictions (no sugar, no dairy, low grains) and it's slow going.  Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I gained net 50* pounds while pregnant with my kiddos (that is even with losing weight in the beginning due to nausea!!)  I was eating dairy then, and I couldn't get enough dairy while pregnant!  (It makes me worry about whether I'll be able to gain enough next time since I'm now dairy-free.)  It came right off afterward, which I attribute to breastfeeding.  In my opinion, if you are wanting to eat a lot, please follow that instinct.  :)   Lots of protein is important.

(*Edited -- I had originally typed 60, but then I remembered that that was actually after the initial weight loss.  So more like net 50.  At any rate, higher than typical.)

Tomorrow is your US!!   WWOOOWW!!  So exciting!  Good for your DH for taking the entire day off, heehee!!

AFM.  Because I've been waking up a couple times a night for this puppy, I wonder how reliable my temps are.  They've stayed low, but today (CD20) it shot up.  Yesterday I had spotting, which was earlier than my usual LP spotting.  So, the hopeful naive side of my brain says, "Oooh, forget the low temps and the weak OPK... that was implantation spotting!"  The practical realist side says, "I've had wacky sleep patterns before and the temps still stay pretty reliable throughout.  The spotting was early because progesterone is way low because this was anovulatory."  Then my hopeful side pipes up, "But the spotting went away!  There's none today!"  And the hopeful side wins.  LOL!!  I will test in the AM tomorrow.  If it was implantation spotting, there should be enough HCG by tomorrow to show up!

Funny you mentioned that bc FF said the same thing but I just didn't believe it due to the OPKs so I took out a temp like a dumbass and it changed my crosshairs. Maybe I'm screwing myself over looking at those annoying OPKs and not focusing only on CM. I had EWCM days before during and after the +OPKs. Ugh. I need to get back to basics. How much B6 is recommended and what does it specifically address? Thx.

edub: what is your status again? ie how long trying, how long cycles are, any kids yet? Sorry...maybe we should all recap again...I can't keep everyone straight! I was just going to say, if your cycles are normal length and you're regular, I wouldn't do anything different. Just my opinion. I think having a normal cycle and being regular is such a good indicator of fertility. If you start supplementing it could rock the boat. That's been what keeps me from changing Anything anyway. The "don't fix it if it ain't broken" theory...I am taking co q10, but that's just for egg quality and I've not heard anything about it changing cycles. It just gives eggs more energy. And I just do that since I'm 38.

It's hard, but try to avoid the temptation to discard temps in FF... unless you know it's really wacky for a good reason.   Where did it put your cross-hairs before you took out the temp?  It looks to me your LP could be as short as 10 days, but it's hard to say without seeing more cycles (I can only see the last one.)  B6 is supposed to help lengthen the LP.  I think you also mentioned some hormonal things that were bugging you, and I understand B6 can help regulate hormones.  That spotting a couple days before AF also makes me think B6 might help.   Edited to add: 50mg B6 would be a good place to start.  I wouldn't personally go over 100mg, but I have seen recommendations up to 200 mg.

Edited again to add: I tried to google to see what was in the supps you were taking that you mentioned.  I couldn't find anything on Luteal Phase2... that might already have B6 in it... what's in it and how long have you been taking it?

On top of that, your cycles overall are on the long side, meaning you are maybe O'ing kind of late in your cycle.  I think there are some supps you can take that would move your O date earlier in your cycle, but I don't know anything about those.

Honestly, I don't see any red flags for anything seriously wrong in your chart, but I wanted to throw the ideas out there in case something resonated with you.

@jenjy I have gotten a good amount of tests with just one line. Yesterday was so faint a photo would've been dumb. This was worth sharing. My obgyn said my body cleaned out what was left from the early miscarriage, which is good. Dear idiot pain in my ass husband wants to start trying like two days ago. It's his way of getting past I guess.

OK.  For what it's worth, when my test line is like that, I still usually have a few days (up to a week) to get the good dark positive.

What do you think about trying again soon like your DH wants to?  I mean, I kind of take it that you don't think it's a great idea, but what are your thoughts about it?

Well, DH broke the (long) silence and is trying to make up with me. I told him it makes me feel like he doesn't care when he caves on me during my fertile time. He said "I have a good record of getting you pregnant....3 times in the last 4 years." Last 2 were losses, but still...so he thinks we have better luck when we're NOT trying. We were trying that 2nd loss, but we were not trying with DS or ectopic. True...3 times in 4 years (and I had mirena for about a year in there). Idk! I can't imagine just not trying. I feel like I'll always be trying to sway things anyway. And I'll still be disappointed every month that we don't DTD during my fertile window. So....idk what the future holds...
@jenjy I'm not against trying again but I am not emotionally ready. He is pretty much emotionless so he doesn't understand. I'll be ready when I can spend a day not crying. Hopefully he gets it. As for the second line, I know it will get darker within. 3 or so days so that is when I might truly care about trying. I'm just excited my body showed some sign of getting back to 'normal.'
