Ok, so this is probably the lamest way to show a chart, but it's what I came up with...

Rosie and Badwolf- thank you for your kind words. I'm just frustrated (we are *only* 5cyles in, but I just believed it would be happening by now, especially as my treasure was concieved the first month not trying/not preventing). I'm going to hang out on youtube later, and I've decided to buy a basal thermometer, I'm a little obsessive so I may as well go the whole way smile.gif
Jenjy- I usually take the test with fmu then jump straight in the shower, and check on it after my wash, but I'm going to set an alarm on my watch instead now- so I can be sure x amount of minutes has passed, thanks for the tip!

Oh and FYI I'm DEFINITELY not always able to keep myself from watching the test.   If I'm feeling very busy or whatnot, I do make it to 10 minutes.  (Although I often peek at 5 minutes then put it back.)  The last cycle, forget about it.  After the m/c, I watched every HPT like a hawk as I was testing out the hcg, and I kept that pattern throughout the entire cycle.  I got back to my good testing habits this cycle :)  (IF anything about my testing habits can be called "good", LOL :o)

Here is the evap I was talking about.  I've now had evaps on three different brands.  Like I said, I know they are evaps because they only show up after the time limit and subsequent tests are negative.  (I take a LOT of tests...yet I still feel like getting this many evaps in 7 months is a little high.  It makes me think the dry desert air has something to do with it??)  Anyway, I wanted to post a picture of one if that is helpful or interesting to anyone.

That is so weird. I've never had an evap in 12ish years of frequently taking tests. I can def see that tho.

Anyone have thoughts on this? I was sick, feverish, and sleeping like crap from CD7 to CD12. My cycles are pretty much 29 days. Guesses? Anyone?

Rose, that is a difficult chart. My best guess is that you Od on CD 13. Does FF give you any cross hairs? The other possibility is CD19

I meant to reply to your earlier post.  Did you take OPKs?  What I was going to say is I could maybe see an O on CD19 w/ a slow rise... does that match up with the OPKs if you took any?   If your cycle this time ends up being your typical 29-ish days, that would indicate an LP on the short side.   (Of course, I'd rather this cycle ends up as a BFP for you...)  Anyway, if on the other hand you end up with a longer cycle this time it's because maybe you O'd later than usual.  Being sick could have delayed your O.  You don't have previous temp records for recent months, right?  It's hard to see patterns without more months of data, but those are my thoughts so far.

I'm not on FF, but I thought about joining just to see what it says. Between first mo of charting, rarely sleeping well, and being sick, I knew it was pretty useless. I've always thought, based on OPK's and pregnancy history, that I O on CD16. WHY MUST THIS BE SO DIFFICULT!?!???!

jenjy - That's nuts!  It looks like my 1st positive hpt on 8 dpo.  Curious - did you ever consider that maybe your evaps could have been very short-lived chem pregnancies??  I have no idea if it works like that, but figured it's possible.

Thx for sharing - I think you get the award for most experienced tester.  That's nice to know bc there can be way too many questions around test time!

rosie - you are missing out by not being on FF.  You get an upgraded membership free for 30 days and can analyze other ppls charts like crazy.  You can search by many parameters to match your O-day, length of cycle, if you're taking meds, how old you are, etc.  I think there are probably about 50 selections you can use to narrow it down.  It's very interesting and FF gives a score of your BD timing according to your chart, and it uses the data from all charts to calculate O-day crosshairs if anything isn't clear cut.  I thought it was really pretty cool.  For someone who likes data it's definitely a fun thing to try.

While Ovuline doesn't give crosshairs, it does give a "fertility score" with 10 being the highest, and I was given a 10 on CD14 or Jan 3rd. That is based on historical data, symptoms, past OPKs, and CM. I guess I need to be patient and keep charting temps and see how/if that changes things. Ugh.

Rosie, it would be so cool if you would run that cycle through FF. If you do, let us know what it tell you. I'm sorry that it's been so difficult *hugs*

Ok thoughts on Preeseed? I'm considering it but I don't want it messing with/possibly killing sperm. I know it's not supposed to but I will be second guessing and pissed off if I don't get a BFP this month. I have ok EWCM but it's not what it used to be.

I don't think it will kill them. I've used it a couple of times. I will say a little goes a long way. It's almost like it makes you "too wet" if you use an entire full dose. I think 1/3-1/2 dose is sufficient. But I'm not pregnant yet, so what do I know?! Lol...

OK, Rosie, I was dying of curiosity, so I went way back in my history and put your temps in. I had to make up your AF, cuz you can't start in the middle of the month. What do you think? (I may have gotten off somewhere in there. I had to keep going back and forth between tabs on my phone. Lol) And those are just my meds that are automatically added

how funny! Thanks for taking the time....I just don't buy that I O that late. 1, bc OPKs always start looking positive around day 13-16. I wasn't real good at using them the last 2 mos tho....but every month before that, 16 was the latest I got a +. And twice now in the last yr I've gotten pregnant and the last time we DTD during those cycles' fertile window was CD14. I'm really hoping I O'd on 15 or 16. But yah, the chart doesn't really support that theory. I do think my inconsistency, lack of sleep, and the newness is affecting it. And I was so sick...which consisted of me sleeping with my mouth open. I can say my AF lasts 7 days (with the last 2 days being spotting), heavy flow on day 2, and light 1, 3-5. and I had EWCM starting CD13 and ending on CD16, with 15 being the best/most abundant. I'd say the other days were scant amounts of it, but 15 was textbook amazing.

Thanks again for all your help.....that was so nice of you.

I found a CBE fertility monitor for $40 in my area on craigslist. I think I'll buy it. If nothing else just to take some guesswork out of it.

You're welcome! I tend to agree with you, and lean toward day 15 or possibly 13. Those dotted cross hairs mean that FF isn't for sure either.

AFM, my boobs burn whenever any of the kids or hubby touches them, and I'm having nausea in the evening/bedtime. I went to giant eagle to get sour cream and I swear Idk how I got pickles in my mind, but I suddenly HAD to have them - RIGHT NOW!! I got 2 jars and ran to the van and inhaled them on the way home. The stroganoff I made tasted terrible. I only wanted plain noodles and oyster crackers.

Af came yesterday greensad.gif I have always gotten pregnant first time so I'm a little disappointed bc I was for sure I was ovulating! Only first month trying but I'm wondering if bf has anything to do with it. DS is 15 months and my period returned at 9 months pp. however he is still night feeding sometimes a lot and eats often throughout the day. My question is could I still not be ovulating even though my period has returned? This was my first 28 day cycle in a long time though so maybe I'm getting back on track! I have very rarely throughout my life had 28 day cycles. Usually 30-35 day cycles, but like I said I have always gotten pregnant right away even with my long cycles!

Well, we BD'd CD12 and 14 (12 was 3:30ish am, so just past CD11, and 14 was 1:30am, so practically on CD13). So I'm trying to convince myself the timing facilitated the POSSIBILITY at least. As for you, your symptoms sound really encouraging!! When will you test? I'm thinking of waiting til AF is due or CD30, which is one week from today.

I'm sorry. It is frustrating when you've had such luck in the past. I've gotten pregnant 4 times now without really trying (2 were losses though). I thought for sure I'd be pregnant by now. I know I need to lean more on faith though. I've kind of lost sight of that. I've gotten all pessimistic and scared. I have no reason to believe I can't get pregnant with a healthy pregnancy JUST ONE MORE TIME!!!
