alittlemischief: so I hope you got lots of BDg in with the pos OPK and all!! Good luck! Fingers crossed for you!

edub: are you still getting lots of EWCM? Or do you feel like the volume has decreased? Hopefully you're hitting the mark!!

Alivewithyou: I dislike OPKs too, but I'm still using them (in addition to temping and now the CBFM). It is nice to see the progression and then a darkish line, hence my disdain for them...trying to decipher "is that dark enough to be pos?" But if you compare it to temps, then it's a good reference point for future months, like inna said.

jenjy: 5dpo huh? I bet you're getting antsy! When will you start testing? Are you "feeling" anything?

greenegirl: welcome! With all that stress and work, etc, I can see how getting in some BDg would be difficult! Has AF made her grand entrance yet? If she does, I bet you'll be pregnant soon. Sounds like you guys have found yourselves in a much calmer time of your lives. It's probably just what you need. I'd be hopeful too! Good luck!

inna: another high today! I assumed first month out I wouldn't be lucky enough to just have a couple of days of highs. But I'm fine with it. I would have been surprised to see peak just yet. My cycles are 29 days....I started OPKs last night too and there was no trace of a second line. It's just so comforting! We didn't BD last night....and I could normally talk myself into freaking out about it, but now I don't have to worry!

I always get a pimple around O, and I bloat immediately afterwards (at least I think I'm bloating after O). Are you having lots/more EWCM now than then? I sometimes still have it throughout my LP, but it's def less than during my fertile window. My app tells me if I'm having it throughout LP, that could be a sign of pregnancy. And when I had chem in Oct, I did have it throughout LP and more so than normal (but still less than during O).

Congrats diamhim! So happy for you! I hope I can join you in Oct DDC! Let's see, I ordered concert tickets yesterday for a show in early October....I'll for sure be pregnant and miserable at the concert!!

Thanks for the input! It was actually like one blob of it in the evening and that was it.  It is seriously hard for me to tell what is cm and what is left over from BD'ing every day for a week.  I think I had more during the +OPKs then that blob a couple days ago.  Currently it is back to creamy and I am symptom spotting everything of course!  This is making me go crazy.  Plus my temp rose up so theres that.  Of course I went on google and typed in "ovulate more than once per cycle" and "more than one LP" ... answers vary by a wide range.    Me=going nuts!!!!!  I have had high marks on timing from FF for the past 4 months, which is nice.

Oooh!  I'd like to put in a request for a xanax-equipped fetus, please.  That is awesome!  Enjoy that chill feeling!!

Ha, ya know, not really antsy... strange.  Usually I am counting the days but for some strange reason this whole cycle has been so laid back.  I actually still think this cycle was successful.  We'll see!

I LOVE that the monitoring is helping you not stress about timing BD!

scjp, I think you are going to have to have some testing done to figure out what is wrong.  I don't have any first-hand experience, but I was just doing some googling and I am seeing some conditions that can cause irregular periods and pain and discharge as well as nausea and some other symptoms which I remember you have had a lot of bouts of over the last many months.  Be sure to give them your complete history of all the irregular periods you have had as well as all the symptoms you have had so that they can get to the bottom of it.

Are you charting? If you O'd then I guess you'll be able to see it in the next couple of days by a thermal shift. And if AF decides to show up in a couple of weeks. But if not, I too would go to the dr with all data in hand, ready to ask a ton of questions! And even if AF does show and you feel you can confirm O, I still might go to the dr anyway...just bc cycles that long are def not normal. Good luck! I hope you O'd, caught the egg, and beat all of us to the DDC!

No I don't chart since my period is sooo off I just been watching for signs. And this ovary pain felt very familiar to when my cycles were normal and I was ovulating it was just more intense like both were hurting and with this ewcm really would love or it to be ovulation time lol that means I could test around valentines day lol and my doctor appt is feb 17 lol

Happy hump day everyone ha ha that could have multiple meanings now. orngbiggrin.gif anyway I temped again this morning and got the EXACT same temp. I understand that I am looking for a pattern but is that normal? Just want to make sure my thermometer isn't broken lol.

Also I am planning on ordering some opks tonight so that I will have them by this weekend. The more knowledge and understanding of my cycles I have the better.

Life is pretty stressful again so I don't have high hopes for my next cycle. My little sister just relapsed on heroin again so a lot of family drama and anger. On a happier note husband and I are planning a trip to Texas in March to enjoy the beach and spend some time together. smile.gif

For those of you not charting (scjp) I highly recommend it!! (I know I just started last cycle, but geez, I have 3 kids and didn't imagine I needed to!) But the reason I suggest it is bc, 12 years ago, when trying for my first, my dr told me to chart for 6 months then come back. I'm just saying, if you're not pregnant after 9 months or so, and want to have a discussion with your dr, there's a good chance they'll tell you to chart for several months THEN come back and talk. It's so frustrating! But if you already have that info on hand, then they are forced to move beyond that point. And it pretty much tells you if you're ovulating regularly, irregularly, or at all. It's the cheapest "test" you can do and does not require much at all. Ok, I'm off my soapbox now! I just want to save anyone from further frustration by being told to wait longer when you've already been through a long wait of TTC. A lot of doctors will want to see that chart!!!

alive: HUMP DAY!! Lmao!! I can just imagine me going home and asking DH "Guess what day it is?" Hahahaha!!

jenjy - I'm super hopeful for you.  What you are describing about being laid back and not antsy - that is exactly how I was the month I got the BFP.  That is def not my norm so I was kinda curious about it even as it happened.  Sounds like your order for a xanax-equipped fetus (LOL) has already been processed!

alive - I think you'll really like having a clearer picture of it all.  Having the same temp is totally normal... and really nice when you look at it on a chart!

rosie - I'm enjoying your CBFM updates!  I'm glad you did an OPK for kicks - it's the coolest thing to prove that the technology actually works.  We love data!

AFM:  I was cleaning off my desk today and found the brochure to the genetic testing place.  I had to call them bc I didn't know my appt time (lost that detail somewhere) and decided to see about scheduling sooner.  Moved my appt up to Monday Feb 3rd.  Apparently they default schedule the appt for 12 weeks just in case insurance won't cover the Mat21 test.  That way they can go ahead and do a "first look test" that includes NT scan and blood test.  I told the lady I'm not interested in that, and will pay out of pocket if necessary for the Mat21.  So, we'll have our info a lot sooner.  As I said before, I feel no big rush but I know my husband will be super happy and relieved to get the info ASAP.  He tries to hide his stress but I know it's there.  I've been threatening (joking) that if he ticks me off I won't tell him the sex... he would go absolutely crazypants!  I had to email him in meetings to let him know - he just confirmed that he cleared his schedule so he can go too.

Now I have to prod myself to go exercise.  Think I'll do a stint in the home gym today - I really want to go out for a walk in the sunshine but it's still only 30 outside :(

Welcome greenegirl ! I hope now that you're trying for real it goes quickly for you.

WifeofAnt did we find a new OP for February? If not, I can do it. I've been hanging around The One Thread for long enough... eesh it's really been 2 and a half years.

AFM: I thought my post-miscarriage spotting was over and done with, but my uterus managed to cough something out today. I'm supposed to go in for my HCG levels to make sure they're back at 0, but have been putting it off. Time to go in for real, I guess. I think once I get AF this cycle (should be early Feb) I'm going to start temping again. It makes me crazy, but so does not knowing if I'm ovulating or not. It doesn't help that my cycles are super long, average is 35 days.

Hi to all! It's been awhile since I've been on here. Congrats to everyone who had BFP! 😄
I started new job last week, and have been crazy busy with training. It works out perfectly-I'll have charted for 6 months at end of January, and I'll be able to afford dr visits again when we're back to 2 incomes. I'm going to schedule dr appt mid February. My (chosen, not bio) sister and her hubby are on 4th round IVF this week, so I want to support her before I start my own rollercoaster. Being with her through all this has made me super emotional. I'm not typically a crier, but I tear up multiple times throughout the day and breakdown when I'm alone. I think part of me is scared that I'll be going through the same thing soon.

Took an OPK and there's like a shadow of a line. I feel my CBFM working up to a peak day soon!! I still predict Friday...maybe Sat...

jenjy: meant to say earlier...when I had my chem in oct, I was also so calm I took note and was mystified with it. Cautiously of course. Hmmmmm....

Hi ladies, I'm new to this site and loving it!! Not sure if this is the correct place to post or join, looking for support and a place to post my triumphs and troubles smile.gif

This is my first cycle TTC, I'm curently 10dpo. I did my hpt at 8dpo and a clear bfn!! Now today I'm 10dpo and tested again and not sure what it is that I got?? A very very slight + I'm hoping! Will wait another few days and hopefully a readable BFP will appear, let me know what you think about this hpt!
