Boy names?

I've already picked out girl names and hubby agrees on them. Either Rhiannon(in reference to a Stevie Nicks song) or Misty Day.

We just have NO CLUE on boys' names. Nothing sounds good. Last name James if that helps at all.

I can't think this early in the morning, but I've always loved the name Owen and it sounds good with your last name. smile.gif

LOVE Misty Day.       What type of names do you like?

I know of an adorable curly-haired boy named Haze. Not sure if that's his full name... I could see a name like Myst or Stormy/Storm for a boy.
There is a little boy in my 4yoDD's Pre-K class named Cedar, and I love it.

I found this discussion of natural/elements names as well. There are lots for girls & boys:

Unusual but not TOO unusual, ya know?

Looking at that link, I like these names:

Kai

Ember

Phoenix(LOVE this one but conflicted because when a cousin gave her baby up for adoption, she gave him this name, as she metaphorically described both of them rising from the ashes)

Neil (first name of hubby's favorite band's lead singer)

I went on the site nameberry the other night and it was really good. Check it out.

www.nymbler.com is always interesting, you put in up to 6 inspiration names - either ones you like but wouldn't use for some reason, or the names of your current children, or whatever - and it generates endless suggestions for you. I've come across some that I wouldn't otherwise have considered. You can choose to only have boy/girl/both suggested, and your inspiration names can be either gender for any search.

That is a great site!! :joy  Thank you for sharing!

:lurk  We found out today that ours is a boy as well even though we were convinced otherwise. Of course we have zero names picked so I will be borrowing your ideas!

I like Archer, Lucas, Cyrus, Alister, and Cedar.

DP likes nothing I suggest but will occasionally say things like "Melvin is a good name..." possibly just to mess with me.
