I need your prayers and baby dust sent this way!

I'm heading to the midwives' office to see the nurse practitioner for some cramping and bleeding that started yesterday. It started off brownish and is now pink. Its not a ton and I wouldn't worry so much if it weren't for the cramping, which is feeling more constant.

The midwives aren't in the office today, so the nurse practitioner will probably just listen for a heart beat and measure my uterus, etc and determine if I need an ultrasound or where to go from here.  I miscarried my last one at 10 weeks, and thought that I was in the clear, even thought I felt movement last week.  :(

I'm a bit of a mess right now.

Thoughts and best wishes with you!
I'm going to the MW office today (different one every time) to hear the HB because I was a nervous from this week, but no big symptoms.
Let's share our good news when we get back, okay?  Well, any news, really, but I'm gonna keep saying good news until my heart bursts or it's proven otherwise because I kinda need to right now.
We're here for you.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts! I just got back from the office and everything seems fine. The NP didn't seem concerned even though there's not a reason for the cramping/bleeding that we can pin down, but she also didn't just dismiss me either, so that was good.

As soon as she put the Doppler on my belly the heartbeat sounded nice and strong, she didn't even have to move it around. A solid 150 bpm.  *sigh*

I knew I was upset, but I think a literally felt the tension drain out of me to that steady thrum. Otherwise, I'm to take it easy, and watch for the bleeding to turn red or the cramping to get worse and if either happen I'll need to come back in for an ultrasound.

@Michelle Murphy please share your good news when you get back too! (I understand that need to be positive for certain!)

Oh good good!!!!  Glad to hear all is well.

And I totally recorded the sound of my babe's heart on my phone yesterday just so I can hear it until the next time!  It sure makes me feel happy and relaxed.

That's a great idea.  I wish I'd done that.
Yup, good news.  Baby's heart beat is nice and strong.  Need to make another appointment for 4 weeks from now; found out that I may not need to drive as far for the next (anatomy) U/S so long as the results of the part-B portion of the NT testing come back looking good (which there is no reason to think they won't).
Still really achy today in the body, but the HB went down with eating and I haven't been nearly as diligent with the Traumeel and herbs so it's to be expected.
I know she's a tough cookie and can survive anything, but it's a pregnant ladies job to worry just a little, right?  How else would babies get born?  (Can't remember where I read that; maybe one of my baby books.)

So glad you're OK! I had some scary spotting and cramping on Christmas day and called the midwife on call in a major tizzy. It took a few days to resolve, but everything was fine. Phew!!
