8.5 weeks, 15cm My friend here has this crystal pendulum thing that she asks questions to (sounds weird, I know, but she uses it for asking about supplements and dosages typically). So, she asked it "is it a boy?" Crystal signaled yes. "Is it a girl?" Crystal signaled yes. "Is there one baby?" Crystal signaled yes. "Are there 2 babies?" Crystal signaled yes. "Are there 3 babies?" Crystal finally signaled no.

whoah- does your friend practice Reike?

i thought about taking that sort of a pic, my morning vs. evening.  it's not right after breakfast for me, but i'm definitely pregnant looking in the evening while in the morning i can button my pants.....

@HouseofPeace no Reike but I have another friend that does! Mine is immediately after breakfast too.

I grow at least 2 pant sizes immediately after eating breakfast, oof!

My mother has the tendency to want to touch my belly whenever she sees me, and I politely remind her that she is just touching bloat and backed up poop at this point.

Also... Anybody here have a tipped uterus? I know that it corrects itself during pregnancy, but I'm wondering how soon and if it will have any effect on the arrival of my bump.

AppleMark

I love all the photos! At 11 weeks, my bloat has finally decided to stick around as a permanent bump.

My pendulum seems to be quite too, as if to say I need to just wait and see  :eyesroll

Hi Hanny, I have a retroverted uterus too. I've got nothing but bloat here -- and it's that magical as-soon-as-you-eat bloat that is oh so pleasant. I'm curious to hear what experienced mamas have to say about estimated bump arrival, too!

Sorry about the crazy photoshopping that I did, but my catch all room was a mess and that's my only full length mirror. 11 weeks, 5 days. I also just ate two huge burritos. Tired today.

i'm voting for solid unquestionable bump at 13 weeks.  mine will be rotating bloat and food until then.  but at that point i will have a high, firm, jutting bump.

@pudlenka I"m 5'1! That's the most bogus thing to say to someone, that you're too short to give birth naturally.  It sounds like you don't believe them anyway, but seriously don't let them get in your head.  With my 2nd (HBAC), I had the nerves that I'm too petite all in all to do this thing myself, then I realized how that was just other people's voices in my head.  I grow small babies & I go into labor early (so far, 37 & 38 weeks, babes were 5'14oz & 6'2oz), so I trust that my body knows what to do.  Also, I was the first born, and I weighed almost exactly the same as MY first born, and my mom is teensy (95 lbs when she got pregnant with me), and she's no more than 5'2' either ;)

Don't be fooled by sizes and baby sizes, my friend was probably an all of 90 lbs and short and just tiny in every way and her baby just came out 8'14 vaginally!  I also have a girlfriend who popped out an 11lber at a birth center, no drugs no nothing and she is skinny as all heck but a little tall.

My VBAC baby was well over 8lb, and I had less than 20 min of pushing ... not worried about size. smile.gif
post #36 of 148

I'm 4'11" and had my boy at 38.5 weeks.  6lb 4oz.  Half hour of pushing.

This is hard for me. I know you're all accepting but I also know that I'm like 85# overweight. Told you I look 6 mo. pregnant. LOL! The big difference I see is the upper belly. That was waaaaay smaller before. My organs have nowhere to go but up and out. I'm also amongst the busty (38F).

Really working on body image issues :/

You're lovely, Johanna.

Johanna - I really appreciate you putting yourself on here. I am also plus sized and will add soon.
